This reminds me of how after one traumatic event, I put everything aside, and just focused on work and school. To the exclusion of everything else. Pushed away friends, and spent my 20's buried in work. No dating, no hanging out,, no development of social abilities. Now I'm 31, and slowly coming to the realization that I made a mistake not dealing with the trauma and ignoring it. Healing now, but now I have the mind of a 20 year old relationship wise in a 31 year old body. I settled for never touching anyone ever again, and just working. Not taking care of my body, and making myself as unattractive as possible. And now I look back at what I missed, what i did to myself,, and all I feel is regret. I'm healing finally after 10 years, but it's not easy. If you lived through something, don't ignore it, don't settle for burying yourself in work. Try to heal, and work on it. It hurts, it's scary, and the panic attacks are common, but you will heal slowly. Never forgetting, but not letting the memories affect you as much.

I just can not believe how you can put feelings into music. For a young man you have a very special gift. You see the world with such wisedom and for me you belong to one of the greatest song writers I ever had the pleasure to listen too.

Ever since I found his music a month or two ago, I've listened to it every possible moment, and I can nog even imagine I ever will want to hear anything else. It's not just his voice and heartfellt lyrics,it's that it is so honest through and through.

Passenger songs always give me the feels. Even if they are quirky and have a good message, it's just his soulful delivery, makes me so blue and introspective.

I never understood why Let Her Go or Wrong Direction get so many more views than songs like this. Even though those are absolutely amazing songs (every one of his are) this should get more views because of its honest, realistic nature. Same thing with Table For One, it deserves more views. I've heard every one of his songs and only the stuff on the radio, or Pandora get watched. Mike, if you're reading this, I want to say that you inspired me to start writing songs. I'v only discoverd his music a couple of days ago, and I can't stop listening to them. I feel like I never need to hear anything else after him. All his songs are of the same quality, with such a beautifull heartfellt singing and honesty. I hope he'l always stay true to himself. It's unbelievably beautiful!
