About "Passengers"

Two of my favorite actors, hands down. As for the "awkwardness," I think that's part of their banter. I don't think they actually FEEL awkward. They're actors, they're comedic, they create different humorous facets of how they interact with each other. I think it's just another way they humor each other.

I would love to see an alternate (maybe short?) film done based on an alternate timeline where Chris & Jennifer's characters don't wake up (en-route) and actually meet each other on the new planet! Would be interesting to explore their characters as they wake up, realize the gravity of what they've decided to do, have some sort of idea of what's happened to Earth in all those years, adventures on the new planet or what have you. That alone would make a fascinating film!

I know this whole conversation happened 4 years/7 months ago.. but I was binge watching interviews and felt I should chime in :D. My thought is that I feel like the movie would make a great series. Like voicetube was saying.. seeing them actually meet on Homestead II would be super interesting. Either by complete hibernation OR they find a way to get each other in pods again back to sleep. I’m not a huge sucker for Netflix series, but it would be something I could see myself watching!

@@Alabite INTERESTING! I think that could indeed work quite well. Even though this movie wasn't SUPER blockbuster- successful, it is well-known enough that it could be a launching point for a Netflix/Amazon series, indeed. There would be a little creative license in changing the outcome of the film to suit the series, but that's been done before. One notable example might be the movie Logan's Run. There was a somewhat successful TV series that came out of it but that might not have followed with the narrative extant at the end of that film (or possibly the LR book, as well?). In reading your comment, I could indeed see it being called, simply "Homestead." Or maybe "Homestead II." I am enough of a fan of the film that indeed I would go out of my way to watch that one. This may be a little cheeky, but if some showrunner were to see our comments and actually move forward with that idea, I would hope they might reach out and offer us a sliver of the profits! LOL :-)

@@voicetube HAHAHA! I wouldn’t mind a little cheddar cheese from that! I never even thought of the title. You’re so right, “Homestead” is super catchy! And with a nice graphic.. A1! I thought of the plot a little more too.. maybe the ship had a rough time with orbiting resulting in the ship breaking down in areas. Thus uniting Jim (the mechanic) and Aurora (a writer documenting the status). They begin to get to know each other of course, falling in love. As they make Homestead, well, home.. they consider a child. As Jim is seeking a full life on the new planet, Aurora remembers HER goal with life (be the first to make a round trip). This causes a complication in the story as they both want different ways of life. I’m sure there’s so much more you could think of!

faboze The movie looked cool, but they fudged the execution and teased a big "twist" that had actually been revealed before filming began. It was handled awkwardly and combined with the misleading trailers, left a bad taste in viewers' mouths.

I wonder about how good their chemistry is in the movie. He's funny and seems pretty cool, but he doesn't look at ease around her. Just watch how he is with the Guardians cast in that moviefone. Totally relaxed and they all seem to get along really well. There's something less natural about this.

Usually group interviews are a lot more relaxed because the focus on you is even less amplified and because group dynamics are just that more fun. But the fact that, for the most part of this interview, they were looking straight at each other to answer the questions tells you that they are comfortable with each other.

zdutzu Again when she's with Josh and Liam it's group dynamic. When she does interviews with Liam alone...now that's weird and awkward, but i think that's mostly because he doesn't give her much to work with. Josh, on the other hand, it's quite clear that they basically get along like siblings ( bickering even in some). I don't think I've ever seen her as comfortable with any other costar as she is with Josh. So I don't think any of her interviews with josh is a fair comparison for any other costar she's had. I also think that her and Chris are trying to keep a balance so that they don't say or do anything that might create a crazy rumors frienzy about a secret romantic relationship between them like the media and the fans are clearly dying to make up.

They have a lot of chemistry. They know it. We ALL know it. Thing here is that he's married, and they are FRIENDS, nevertheless, it is a bit complicated to try and keep a friendly relantionship because sometimes the chesmitry is so strong and evident that there are moments where the lines blurr a bit, specially when they are relaxed, must have noticed about that themselves and are trying their best to keep their relationship platonic and along the friendly things we all do. My two cents on this thing lol

I loved the movie and Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt have great chemistry not to mention that Jennifer Lawrence is seriously hot.

Stacie Morgenstern to an average starwars fan I can see that for sure, I'm not a fan of war film either, and thought the first quarter was slow, but everything else I loved what it added to a new hopes lore so much!!!

The force awakens was amazing but this one had maybe three good parts, all I heard walking out the cinema was "that was the worst one" "that was rubbish"

The Swe IOS Gamer Because it was actually enjoyable and I wasn't so bored and waiting for it to be over unlike rouge one where they randomly decided to kill pretty much everyone around the same time without making emotional ties first. That's when you know you're out of ideas 🙈
