Welcome to my first tutorial on KZfaq! In this tutorial I share how I make these sweet journals that make perfect gifts this holiday season. They would also be great to sell at craft shows and on Etsy

Hi Emily I am a new subscriber and I love these little notebooks. I want to say thank you for letting us know what you are using and where to purchase things. A lot of crafters I watch does not tell you anything or very little and it is always nice to know and I appreciate that. Great job on the tutorial. I did something close to that with a few leftover checkbook covers. I didn't want to toss them but who writes checks anymore LOL. I laughed when you asked if anyone else struggles with the scoring jumping lines, me, me,me! I have discovered if I use my embossing ball tool instead of the tool/folder that came with the scoreboard it stays in the groove much better & less likely to tear the paper too! Thanks for being your normal cheery self, I sure needed it today! I am so sick of all the political wars everywhere now! I escape to KZfaq to the people I know that will not be caught up in the mess here! Thanks again Emily!

Okay...so now, not only have I bought a bunch of things from your shop coz they are almost as adorable as you, but now I just had to have the elastic from Amazon so that when the covers arrive, I can make some books...Have you experimented with sewing through the vinyl??? Hmmmm...Hugs to You...❤️❤️❤️

I have not tried sewing through the vinyl. These are fun to make though. Let me know if you try sewing through the vinyl. I'd love to know if it works.

Question for you please ... I usually like a little smaller notebook but I really like these covers as they are softer than laminated covers. Have you tried trimming down 1 or 2 sides and resealing like with fusion tool or e6000? Thanks for the giggles!

I have not tried that - that is an interesting idea - I like it. I don't have a fusion tool. I wonder how sewing it would look? Could make it a little funky?

@@vintagepolkadotshop Ah sewing, good idea! Could sew all around in a color to camouflage the alteration. Otherwise I think this size would work as is also so I'm going to give it a try. Thank you!
