That was lovely that Buddy asked folks to donate to Mental Health Charities. Especially back in that era ! Blessings from California. 🌞

yeah and i was impressed that he used the phrase "mental health", too! It was a lot less common back then, they often used less compassionate terms.

I have a suggestion - maybe Please could you include the full original commercials that were included in the original initial broadcast -as they were originally shown ❓➖ more humanity were in the commercials then - not like now - entertaining in their. own way - a genuine slice of Americana - not seen enough today - like looking into a time capsule - let the " youngsters " of today's world see how it was then - a chance for appreciation - respect for a bygone era - I would LOVE THIS - maybe others would too - Will you Please offer up the FULL commercials - station identification spots too - PLEASE ❓❓- it would be Greatly Appreciated by this fan - and maybe more fans too - ❓➖💖💖💖 ❓❓❓ - Thank You So Much For Your Kind Consideration Regarding This Matter - 👍⚡💓💞💕💞💕💟💗💋💞💓😄😄😃😍😍✌👍🕊💨. :>)

In order to solve the evidence puzzle much sooner, I would have said proof, right off the bat.😊 Buddy was on 🔥, one of the best players on this show. However, he had the misfortune of missing the first clue, then deferring to Nanette for the win 😮

He always seemed wacky. I found out that he had Bell’s Palsy as a child. It affected his face and slurred his speech. That may account for his look and wild brand of humor.

On an episode of Password, l remember her saying something about donating to a Hard Of Hearing Charity. She had a hereditary problem that caused hearing problems. Blessings from California. 🌹
@gusloader123

Mark V. - I looked it up on Wikipedia. She did have a hearing impairment from birth. She had some learning problems in early life and said that she thought she was just stupid. Someone said she should have some hearing tests done. Then she realized she was not "stupid" but did not always hear properly. {I am having the same problem now with my Grandkids when I visit. Argh! I love listening to Bach, Hayden, Mozart, Hydin, Handel, and the Hymns, but the voices on cell phones and the grandkids are very difficult for me. Thankfully on many of these Password shows there is the "CC" tab.} She later became an advocate for the Deaf and hard of hearing. She learned sign language and actually used it on a few TV programs.

I don't.. ... believe so. ..at least not entirely deaf. If - Memory Serves she was Mostly deaf though. (I "know" that sounds weird. Apologies. Not meaning to be a Richard in that response.) I believe.. in - the 60's(?) Madam Fabray DID Have a Rather Nasty/Horrific Accident involving a on-stage boom "crane" that hit her/fell on her 😣😥😓☹🙁☹☹☹. Thankfully. She Lived WELL Past that. She is .. SORELY, Sorely Missed.🎨 No Disrespect is meant here but (i) always preferred/liked This Nannette "over" Cocoa.

Nanette Fabray tried hard, but some clues just do not work. She was on the show other times, and iirc, "Hollywood Squares" also. Always seemed pleasant, unlike the self-promoting B.H.. Password "Glide" --- maybe someone should have given "Fly" or "Flight", "Aircraft" for a clue. A Glider is an aircraft without an engine. B.H. would have know that because he served on an Ack-Ack crew in the U.S. Army. Password "Steep". Interesting the thinking of the clues. Must have been Tea-drinkers. I would have said: "Tall", "Everest", "Matterhorn", "Cliff".

@@marytschida5756 Nope. Look at younger pix of her; they're online. I read that Michael Jackson told his surgeon he wanted Nanette's nose. Whether what I read is true or not, that's exactly what he got. Still, he wasn't satisfied with it and later made it smaller.
