Jim told this hilarious story that I believe. He got mash notes from Marilyn Monroe- maybe they were both working at 20th at the same time. "I must see you," "Meet me tomorrow," and so forth. He told his wife Henny about it, and she said, "If it were ANYONE but Marilyn Monroe, I'd say don't you dare, but... okay, go ahead." Marilyn got Jim into her dressing room, sat him down, and said, "Do Mr. Magoo."
