The brother of Rosemary Clooney, Nick Clooney, who is also the father of actor George Clooney is still living at age 87. George Clooney's Aunt Rosie was quite a singer and celebrity.

Did Rosemary Clooney, sing (How Much Is That Doggie In The Window)? That was popular back in the 1950's. That was 👍 good when people helped each other. When they were just starting out. I remember when Paul Newton was singing on the Lucy Show.

*Darrin was gone waaaaaaaay too soon!* *So much talent in one package, and used it all very well* *Darin was on 'Sullivan' and met a kid who did a vocal and instrument(s) act...after the show Darin went to talk to him and said "I gotta' song that's PERFECT for you but not right for me because of the key...who's your agent so he can get it for you? Because I don't have the publishing-rights on it"* *Darrin finds-out the kid has no agent, no management, no nothing!* "Listen, if it's okay with you, I'm gonna' call my agent and have him represent you because you've got 'what it takes' to be a great performer...where can he get in touch with you tomorrow?"* *The 'kid' was Wayne Newton, and the song was "Danke Schoen" which was a huge 'Hit' for Newton that started a 60-year career for him* *100% true story, and it all came from Newton himself* *What a great guy he was, to do that for Newton who just happened to get a 'lucky break' for an appearance on the 'Ed Sullivan Show' that could 'make or break' a career in those days* ( *The Beatles' did the same thing for MANY other artists and bands, giving them 'free songs' for others to play that John/Paul had written!* *James Taylor got his 'big break' from McCartney who signed him to "Apple Records' when Taylor was unknown* )

I came here for Bobby Darin, but watching Rosemary Clooney you can so see the resemblence in facial expressions to George Clooney, the eyes and facial structure as well.

Bobby Darin was a massive TALENT back in the day.......and extremely intelligent.......he and the gorgeous Sandra Dee married and had a son ...They were both extremely talented...they were Hollywood Royalty back when people had real talent

Until I learned that Rosemary is George's aunt, I never noticed the family resemblance, but it's quite obvious now. In fact she looks like she could be his mother 😮

That last and that look at 10:00… It's almost like Dorothy was channeling a future (1980s) Rosanna Arquette! They could probably play each other on TV :-) [Your reference movie would be one of my favorite of the era: "After Hours" directed by Martin Scorsese!]

Sometimes Allen Ludden said too much! As with the "Lever" which was a totally acceptable clue. He should have kept his mouth shut when he did this even if he thought the word was wrong.

Too many contestants in the same show. I liked it a lot better earlier in 1962 when the same contestants played for the whole show. Oh well.

From a copy editor: it's each *has*. If we remove "of you" from the sentence, the proper tense becomes clear. ('Each has x points.')

It's the Spanish pronunciation; its roots are from Spain/Mexico.

Usually you only hear it pronounced that way for the shopping area Rodeo Dr. On another episode it was a clue and when they got it they pronounced it the same way. Blessings from California. 🛍
