Yeah… it always bothered me how people make Katsuki overly physically aggressive. Like, the only time we really see him physically harm Deku in any way in ms is when he pushed him to the ground. We only see him threaten Deku with words but never see him brutally beat him in any way. It’s such a mischaracterize of Katsuki. Hell, even Katsuki’s “goons” said that he went too far when he told Deku to take his life. Which would mean he never went that far to harm Deku. Threaten, yes, but never physically harm him in any serious way. The only time we ever see Katsuki attack Deku physically, before Deku gets his quirks, was when they were extremely young and Deku had stood up to him. Kids are cruel, especially kids like Katsuki who was raised around aggression and had people around him constantly boosting his ego for being strong. He was insecure and took it out on Deku and tried to push Deku down as a way to cope with that insecurity, because society told Katsuki that he was supposed to be the most powerful and that he was supposed to be a strong hero while people like Deku was supposed to be way below that and be the person that needed saving 24/7, that they were supposed to be the “weaklings”. With that thought process, that lead to Katsuki’s eventual insecurity because Deku was trying to go against that mindset that society put in so many peoples heads. Deku, someone who was quirkless, was trying to be at his level when he “wasn’t supposed to be.” This angered Katsuki because of what was imputed in his head since he was a child. We now recently see him realize that he was very immature, that he was insecure, that he was a victim of the false mindset that their society had put into people’s heads and he apologizes to Deku for the way he treated him.

@@LyricalCJ It's totally ok I really don't mind because I love reading the explanations behind video's and stuff. Plus you saying all of this just shows me that you love MHA and everything that the show is. I really haven't seen the latest episodes yet so I have some catching up to do. But even I could tell that before he apologizes to Izuku that he was understanding that everything he said and did to Izuku leading up to high school was wrong and that he shouldn't have done it in the first place. Like, I hate how ppl can still only see the bad in Katsuki. He has had tremendous leaps and bounds in character development since the first season and it just seems like ppl can't see that. Or that ppl just don't want to see that he is changing. Which irritates me even more because that just shows that those ppl who aren't recognizing these changes don't ever want to give him another chance to show that he is changing for the better.

@@dakotacarter7325 EXACTLY it makes me so upset when people don’t see his character development. Whether it’s just his own character by itself or development with other people like Deku. People can’t seem to grasp that people change over time. Especially change that take place in a span of like 3 years.

From my understanding Bakugo bullied Izuku hoping that 1. He'd be the one to lead the bullying pack and make sure it didn't get too bad and 2. Convince him to not be a hero because without a quirk (in his eyes) it would be super easy to get severely injured or worse.
