Past Tense - English with Sound and Light

Here is a video from the first English with Sound and Light series. Though the production quality is a little weak, this is useful for teaching the past tense tense. I am in the process of revising and updating this video.

Nope. Past is a finihed time. Present perfect is something that has just happened. Think of it as another way to tell news

sorry sir after watching this two kind of video, I couldn't understand what's the different between present perfect and semple past.Because this actions were same . how is tense changing?please sir

present perfect is something that you started in the past and you continue doing. For example: I started giving english classes in 2014, I am still giving classes. so... I have given classes for 4 years. simple past is something that just finished. For example: In 2008, yesterday, last month, in the morning (If in this moment is evening) an action that finished and it doesn't continue!
