I think too highly of the goodness to allow that kind of suffering forever, simply for being deceived by something that decieves.. but that's just my opinion. Read Matthew chapter 28:18-20 it talks about the baptism it plainly says that we are to be baptized in the name of the Father Son and the Holy Spirit for the remission of sin. Yes he is right. Nothing mentioned in the Bible about what kind of fruit that was consumed. The truth is that no one knows what fruit was consumed. But people used the symbolism of the apple, because of its popularity. What kind of fruit do we usually pack in our lunches, and which are the most ? An apple, an orange, or a banana. So yes it is either an assumption, or just a symbolism that was created and therefore widely used.
