I feel like your score will change when you know that this is a comedy skit. If it were a real song/advert, then yes 1 star for sure. But it’s actually a genius bit of comedy - the attention to detail in the crappy camera work, the trope of older people trying to be “down with the kids” and of course the incredibly misjudged usage of that particular word - recipe for a perfect 5 stars!

It's a skit in disguise. Church's site domain registered same day as Brian Spinney youtube account was created, start of 2013. And the video uploaded a month later. Despite church site posing as late 90-s one and talking about the church had to close in 2004. And image of the "christian youth" is a stock photo that trended exactly around 2012/2013. Still not public who's behind it.

By your standards, no. By the standards of someone who wants to "preach the gospel"... They got millions of people to hear their message that they're going to hell if they sin. Including you. By the standards of Christians, that was *wildly* successful. That doesn't mean it wasn't cringe, but they don't really care about that.

😂 oh my this is soooo Bad…we were brought up on Christian and country music I’m not sure mom would of let us listen to that…. We are more “skillet, Flyleaf, Audio Adrenaline, Anberlin, Reliant K, Third day, Toby Mac”people to name a few. Yeppers Christian music is big in our home but this is.. is .. I just can’t describe the amount of cringe garbage “Crinbage” coming outta them. I also never knew that’s how you pronounced Notorious B.I.G. So he’s called “Big” I’ve learned a lot today and makes Radiohead sound good. I even like really bad cold play band now……ooooh btw have y’all listened to Pearl Jams “Dark Matter”? It’s Nuclear!!!! Probably not sarcastic. If this was comedy - and I'm still not convinced that was its intention - it's actually rather subtle. It's right there on the bounds of something that could happen. What could it be other than comedy? Someone who wanted to put the message out but not take responsibility? No way of knowing. This is one of those things that people not familiar with American culture might not "get". It's subtle. There are countless examples of people actually doing exactly this unironically.

So much cringe. The only thing good about that was the bass-playing.😂 In all seriousness though, it’s actually downright sacrilegious, too. Painful to listen to. My ears are bleeding for multiple reasons.😂 If you want Christian rap, listen to Lecrae, Tedashi, KB, Andy Mineo, NF… But I can’t stand rap anyway, so I would steer people to real music like Kutless, Ashes Remain, Nine Lashes, Red, Skillet, Lacey Sturm, Seventh Day Slumber, etc. Pillar is the only band whose rap I like, and that’s because it’s over rock/metal, not trap music/dub-step garbage. Rap=🤮
