I have heard Raul's testimony hundreds of times. He was my pastor from 1975-80. He ordained me and sent me to Kansas to start a church. At a recent reunion, people that had been at my church in the 80's & 90's came and told me their lives had been impacted. I saw this today and say thank you Raul & Sharon for building a good foundation in Sue and I, it has kept us in Christ!

I've lived the majority of my life as a selfish sinner, knowing that deep inside of me I was ashamed of who, & what I become, & felt the guilt for the things I've done in my life. Thinking I was a lost cause who just couldn't find the right path to walk, & when a childhood friend called me, & asked me to please listen to this man, & everything he's been through in his life, & Jesus changed his life. All it took was hearing one sermon from pastor Raul Ries, & my life hasn't been the same. He put the Bible, & jesus in perspective for me to understand, I've become a changed man because of hearing what this pastor said, & how he said it, & his words touched my heart so much. I began to cry so hard, that my life hast been the same since. I now put Jesus first over everything in my life. Semper Fi! I can relate to a lot of your story and testimony. Born into a broken home, my dad was a violent, alcoholic, womanizer, and bar room brawler. He used to take me to the bars also as a child and I would play video games while he drank, gambled, and had sex with the women there in the bathrooms...Nothing a child should see. I vowed to NEVER become like him but many years later, I was just like him...Ran with the gangs, got saved, starting taking martial arts (Tang Soo Do, Shotokan, and Kempo) joined the Marines by a miracle (drug, gang, criminal waivers) and then continued the cycle of my father...By the grace of God, I'm going to be graduating with my Bachelor's in Ministry next week and applying for my Masters in Divinity at APU or Life Pacific... Prayer for my son Marine veteran who served 2 tours in Afghanistan I prayed for him to not be injured or killed and God blessed him with safety. But we lost him, he is suffering, he was raised in the church and now is angry with his mother, siblings and God. I live in NYC and Used to get 3 tapes a week when I got saved back in 1985. I used his tapes and led my dad and some friends to the Lord! Then I eventually went into full time ministry but I learned everything from him to prepare me! Now with everything going on in the world 2022 I am glad to find him on youtube!

For the past 5 years I'd been praying for the Lord to give me a church (a home) to worship and to have fellowship, a place to be baptized in water in The Holy Spirit. During this time in waiting my church had consist of ( two or more gathered) with my bother's and sister's and In Touch Ministries on Sunday mornings. On June 22, 2019. I received my answer. Pastor Raul Ries was hosting his second annual "made new" baptism at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs the very next day. I signed up and by the grace and mercy of our Lord my oldest son registered an hour before this lovely event. It was amazing! Pastor Raul and his brother's in Christ baptized All some were baptized fully cloth. AMAZING! The church Jesus blessed me with will be blessed in GOLD. Thank you Pastor Raul Ries and Sharron, for your testimony this is the first time I saw it. Tears flowed and love surged while watching. Obedience to GOD, He will always choose what is the very best for you and me.

we want to look forward in Christ Jesus, The LORD is my shepherd amen, . I was there, did that whole song and dance with a whole lot of other guys; until it removed me. God was merciful to me, a sinner sinning while serving, anyone joining to the service, don't sin, GOD will deal with that while your in service. Fear GOD.. when one is active, combat or other wise, learning to walk on water is most challenging... one second you think you have it covered and the next second bam.. it's how it goes down. We never really own the day, But for the grace of GOD go I. I'm still learning the word of GOD, more over the many many ways The Spirit of the LORD uses building blocks to create in us the a way to learn and understand HIS word / truths. It really came together for me this morning listing to the Pastor Ries morning service.. I haven't listen to the Pastor maybe over twenty years, I was pondering what to study up in, I picked so I thought, Colossians, blue letter bible Raul Ries, over the others I been follow with, Low band behold The Pastor was doing Colossians, It was amazing to hear the maturity of the same book done again so many years later by the same preacher of the word, Love. Mercy, Grace, Peace, one can hear in the spoken word by the Pastor, amen. Rock on Pastor.......... standing the rock amen. and yes, I have no idea what tomorrow is to be, GOD said today is enough to deal with, amen. GOD is Good...

thank you for sharing raul, you have always been my go to for sermons and teachings when i was going through all my depression. God really used you in many dark times in my life. i attend a calvary we started in my town. i served as an elder for a while even, God is amazing.

I had a similar conversion one night in 1995, when my life came crushing down, when I threw my wife's bible on the floor, I was compelled to pick up the torn pages from the floor, one was from Malachi ,as I read it caused me to weep because it fully applied to us .Weeks later a real estate agent whom I just met invited me to CCGS business man's fellowship, that's where I met Pst. Dale and Raul Ries who became my first pastors and teachers. I served there for 20 yrs. In the somebody loves you crusades. "The gospel is the power of God unto salvation" 🙏

This is so great! I read Pastor Raul’s book years ago, then donated it to my library. I would love to read it again. I remember the incredible transformation, where he went from planning to kill his wife to an instant conversion to Jesus Christ. 40 years and still going strong!

"I'm still trash" same 😂This testimony is amazing. I attend Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, but enjoy watching Raul's sermons here or there. I've been in two abusive relationships and feel that those types of men are a lost cause, but through Jesus I've found forgiveness for them and pray one day they find healing in him as well. Raul's wife is very lucky he turned his life around through the strength of Christ. That's very rare, but there was a purpose from his past.

I would like for you guys to pray for me god blessed me in so many ways I pray all the time try to ask God for straight not to do drugs and alcohol everytime I drink a couple of beers something comes over me or I go I want to smoke crack cocaine or do methamphetamine I have two beautiful boys my wife left me because of my drugs and my cheating I've changed my life so much I've got my own business but I still fall back and do drugs once in awhile I need your prayers for strength and understanding why he's not answer my prayers please help me amen

I got saved watching Raul on TV in the early 90's on his Manna for Today show.. Then a few weeks later a guy at work, out of the blue, gave me a Greg Laurie "new believer" trac. LOL, I had never even heard of Calvary Chapel at the time..
