After a record-breaking homicide year in the city of Indianapolis, community members, stakeholders and local pastors are discussing ways to work together and reduce violence in the community.

It has to be a community change not homicide unit changes. Indianapolis actually has a large homicide clearance rate compared to many other large metropolitan areas.

It’s all about parenting and how people are raising their children!
@1life7443 жыл бұрын
You are 💯 right. It's all about the parents. We are shaped by them. If we did not receive proper love then we can't truly love ourselves or others. All criminal behavior originates from that fundamental early wound. Your comment is refreshing. It is true.☺️

Stop blaming everyone else for how you raise your children with no father, no morals, no respect, and no common sense. Not communication with police.

Why isn’t Indianapolis addressing this. It breaks my heart the numbers and the unsolved cases that remain.

let me wake you up too! They (government mafia/criminals) need them to organize crime, to put them in the work places to lure women into prostitution and threaten them by the very same murderers/pimps to join the club, they need them for armed robberies, fraud, thefts, drug smuggling and selling, they bring drugs all the way from Afghanistan & somebody must sell them! If you don’t know this or pretend that you don’t know this you are a FOOL! they “hero” is a retired guy seating on the white beach sipping drink and re-counting how many people he killed and got away with! wake up! ask them for a tour of “rich” drug dealers homes located by the federal IRS BANK of Anglia in the USA!

@@ElizabethKlimas thank you. It’s sad to think these lives could have been taken and I couldn’t understand why possibly they were no threat to the corrupt system. I do know they let those stay out of jail or go in jail to take care of things etc. I’ll try to reread and really look into what’s going on and try to wrap my mind around their corrupt sickness. Not sure how, when the police have been compelled to stand down, that it's still somehow their fault when homicides start to spike upward.
@Peacekeepa3173 жыл бұрын
The people in the neighborhoods affected weren't the ones doing that. They only wanted the police to stop killing unarmed people. Not ignore violent crimes. The protests and defund the police movement are driven by whites and blacks who dont even live in the hood.
@Snowman3663 жыл бұрын
It doesn't matter what the people in the neighborhoods did. Their elected leaders compelled the police to stand down and began defunding them. The police have complied, but still get blamed for the increased violence.

@@Snowman366 Explain to me how minorities in a majority ruled democracy are responsible for the elected officials the majority voted in. You're just using the actual people suffering as a bullshit talking point is what this looks like. But you didn't really think your reasoning all the way through. People are dying because of a subsection of their community are killing them and the police have proven ineffective in helping. People don't snitch in the neighborhood because the police don't protect witnesses. In many cases they actually sell the names of witnesses to the criminals. You don't know or understand the shit because it ain't your fucking business.

Move more temp agency's into these neighborhoods that provide transport to job sites so law enforcement cant pull people over coming to and from work, and legalize marijuana so it does not stop someone from getting a job and you will see a sharp decline in problems , these are the largest hurdles for young people in the inner city to overcome. or stand by and watch the problem spread to where the money is.

Without an effective way to address the opioid epidemic and without better, much better gun regulation without loopholes, our gun violence will not decrease. FBI criminal background checks are done on all nursing school graduates who want to take the NCLEX. We should have the same background check on anyone who wants to own a gun. I realize that nursing is a privilege not a "right". It's too bad that our country cannot make owning a gun a privilege, not a right.
