Six Sweet Under Hi! Just a suggestion, maybe next time increase the temperature to 350. That was it would take less time and not dry out :)

@@naomim3735 You kinda wanna cook your cookies at lower temperatures. You don't want the bottoms too cook too fast and end up burning while the insides and tops haven't had a chance to fully cooked. I do admit tho that the usual standard bake temp for cookies is 350

For everyone who said she over baked them. if you baked cookie dough according to the instructions and you see that it's still raw and not solid and not completely cooked, do you still eat it? No you keep baking it, which is what she did. She knows when a cookie is fully cooked and when it was fully cooked, it was dry, not like the other ones who still retained some moisture in it.

I mean 325 for 10-12 minutes is no where near enough time lol so they would’ve been underbaked and still raw. Usually recipes that use a baking temp of 325 call for about 20 minutes.

“Cookie was dry...I had to bake it for an extra 10 minutes.” Like, what? I always under bake my cookies to keep the gooey chewy texture. For my recipe 10 minutes at 325 is perfect. Don’t know why that was such a sin to her but I’ll just keep enjoying my cookies the way I like them I guess.

A couple of things I can't totally figure out, and I have asked asked and researched and haven't found a definite answer: 1. What makes the crackly, craggy topped chocolate chip cookies. 2. How to make chocolate chip cookie "pucks" that actually flatten out when baked. The bakeries as well as store bakeries have figured it out though. If anyone knows, Please help.

This is the recipe I use Everytime. Just make sure you use a good non-stick pan and don't overbake and your good!

I totally disagree ! As a lazy momma of two under two and twin boys who are five! I’m constantly trying quick easy cookies and my kids and me all prefer the nestlé tollhouse ready made cookies !!!!
