@@victorkrasowski3084 Album “Gipsylon” by Number One Ensemble is pretty awesome. Italian disco and Italo-disco from the late 1970s to mid 1980s (rarely pop, but even mainstream was pretty good at times).

For most people (that I'm aware of), disco is just the crap that charted in the US during the 70s. It's a shame really, considering Italo Disco and Space Disco are exceptional genres overshadowed by mainstream garbage like Disco Duck.

If I'm hearing it correctly, it's a DX7, factory patch 16. Same one used in 'Take My Breath Away'

I don't know how they get the simulated resonance, tho. I have a DX-5, and I tried that patch from the factory cartridge. The only way I know how to simulate resonance is to have an envelope trigger a modulation to an operator higher up in the chain within a given algorithm. DX synthesizers are such a pain to program. I can make a similar sound from my Moog Source, but it is just too fat and big.
