It does not surprise me in the least that Pat refused to cancel. She herself is a native of NYC so no doubt she was just as outraged over the terrible events of that fateful day on 9-11. I wish I could have been there to watch her sing. That show especially must have been straight FIRE!!

i was reading one of the comments on here about Pat's voice isn't as good as it was back in 1982. Actually alot of people (myself included) believe her voice has only become even more amazing. Like the live version of Everybody lay Down from her recent 2013 tour. Totally amazing live vocals on that one. One would have to be tone deaf not to realize that Benatar truly is one of the greatest vocalist of alltime. Fan or not a fan of her's. No one can deny she is vocally outstanding.
@trollingisasport2 жыл бұрын
She's just older. It's more refined. Sometimes it's the imperfections that we relate with.
@Jack291512 жыл бұрын
her voice never changed, what changed is in 1982 she was using analogue tube amps ran through analogue mixers...and her songs were recorded on analogue cassettes and vinyl. now it's ran through digital 100% end to end and recorded on webm and mp3. analogue surpasses digital in quality and dynamic range. her voice didn't change. the technology did. and not for the better.
@Jack291512 жыл бұрын
Analogue covers the full dynamic range, digital only covers the frequency range of the human ear, and leaves out the sounds you can feel but not hear.
@Jack291512 жыл бұрын
If u listen to her newer studio stuff, she does studio work in full analogue, she literally sounds the same as she did in the 80s.

This bloody road remains a mystery This sudden darkness fills the air What are we waiting for? Won't anybody help us? What are we waiting for? We can't afford to be innocent Stand up and face the enemy It's a do or die situation We will be invincible This shattered dream you cannot justify We're gonna scream until we're satisfied What are we running for? We've got the right to be angry What are we running for? When there's nowhere we can run to anymore We can't afford to be innocent Stand up and face the enemy It's a do or die situation We will be invincible And with the power of conviction There is no sacrifice It's a do or die situation We will be invincible Won't anybody help us? What are we running for? When there's nowhere, nowhere we can run to anymore We can't afford to be innocent Stand up and face the enemy It's a do or die situation We will be invincible And with the power of conviction There is no sacrifice It's a do or die situation We will be invincible Yeah (we can't afford to be innocent) Yeah, yeah (stand up and face the enemy) (It's a do-or-die situation) (We will be invincible) Oo-ooh, yeah, yeah (we can't afford to be innocent) Yeah (stand up and face the enemy) Yeah, yeah (it's a do-or-die situation) (We will be invincible)
