This song is seriously perfect for the Dentist trailer. as well as for Dallas as a whole. The song is about regretting the questionable lifestyle the singer has chosen for himself (bank robbery, in both the case of the singer as well as the game characters). For Dallas himself, as of the second Payday game, he's been portrayed as the reluctant older member of the gang, who has second thoughts and doubts about the heister lifestyle. He clearly has regrets about the life he's chosen for himself (and by extension his little brother Houston), but finds himself unable to let go of the almost rockstar- like lifestyle he's grown accustomed to from the Payday Gang's various newsworthy exploits. Payday 2 as a whole isn't really to be praised on its in depth and nuanced storytelling, but at least this part of the lore is deep enough to make me feel a legitimate connection to the character, and as such I mostly play as Dallas to this day.

Very nostalgic to 2014. Lots of memories with this song. It's weird to say how much PAYDAY 2 has influenced me and the friendships I've made over it, or just the memories from playing it with others. Such a simple game, but it definitely marked a time in my life. Thank you!

Recently two of my friends have had there data deleted after a game crash within the same week...we all came to the realization that if we continue to play Payday 2 eventually we are just going to lose everything. So unfortunately we have decided to retire from this AWESOME game. R.I.P Payday 2, I have played this game since Xbox 360 when Houston was still called Hoxton. Lol
