I use to always expect discounts from my friends for their services that I needed or wanted from them but as I matured I now pay them their worth or what they normally charge because I appreciate my friends and what they offer and they're just trying to make it just like me.

This has got to be the greatest guy never met Pat but what a outstanding human. I enjoyed watching him play I know it crazy to want to see him punt because your team didn't finish a drive but what an amazing player and more important a great man. It is a bad practice to pay for interviews, however, this is completely different. Rodgers is essentially a member of the show (he was a regularly scheduled, weekly part of the show) not some random athlete or person they are interviewing.

Good on espn for not censoring the KZfaq clips. Could've left out a few fbombs and take away from his emotion and attitude towards the rat Andrew Marchand. But also not that Coach Pagano went on a tirade but outside of coaching he seems like a very mellow guy. And to seem him get upset and angry about what is said about Pat says alot to me. He's a good addition to the show. I love when coach is around

It's good that this came out, because it clears up the blurry line between who is an "employee" of the show & who is a "guest" of the show. Now you can essentially view Aaron Rodgers as another show "employee" & know that the discussions come from that perspective. Pat isn't really viewed as a journalist, so I don't know how important the concept of "impartiality" really is in his space. Now I'm going to assume that every recurring guest is paid, but it makes you wonder if now no one will want to appear without negotiating payment. I guess that's Pat's problem though.
