Jesse Ventura is one of the few celebrities, that I am aware of, that actually won a defamation lawsuit. He sued that American Sniper guy (Chris Kyle, I think). He also went thru a few crucial steps that can have a huge impact on whether or not the lawsuit will stand. He sent several "Cease and Desist" letters to Kyle and the publisher that specified the false claims and also provided evidence that the claims were false. Most judges won't even entertain a lawsuit unless those things were done first. It's meant to demonstrate that the plaintiff tried to correct the record and was not simply trying to silence critics with frivolous lawsuits (Which is what Favre seems to be doing here). SLAPP Suits are a preferred tactic of rich D-bags that wish to conceal the details of their fraud. At this point, Favre may as well create a crypto-coin/NFT scam... it'd be more honest.
