Some folks have complained. He's not actually out of tune... It's the tracking on the VHS tape/player and Pat's preferred chorused effect -- via his real time + dual and quad amp offsets in the delay scheme -- exaggerate the effect. Pat will always tune on the fly!

@@julianjazz7296I just hear the pitch wobbling up and down, - as the bass has a lower pitch, we are less likely to hear pitch deviations if they are that fast. The end tone alone shows it clearly.

J'ai du mal à comprendre la psychologie de certains qui viennent regarder une vidéo pour dire qu'ils n'aiment pas, il m'arrive de regarder beaucoup de vidéos qui ne me plaisent pas, je passe mon chemin et je n'emmerde personne avec mon avis surtout quand on parle de musiciens mondialement connus..

The guitar is not out of tune you are hearing the effects of a poor recording quality

@James McKellar I think the recording quality was sufficient... I believe in this case the magnetic tape that this was recorded on stretched (probably after repeated usage) which changes the pitch ever so slightly. When a tape stretches and is still regulated at the same speed via the capstan, it causes the pitch to drop.
