One 'risk' with the new system is that damage uptime during the ward burst could fluctuate. Once the ward pops, I can simply focus on mechanic avoidance and the ward will go away on its own instead of having to still DPS through it. I don't know if that's necessarily toxic, but it's the first way I thought of to abuse it.

@@mikkj9331 I was thinking of void cleave w/ abyssal echo, anomaly and reversal + possibly rive - were you thinking of something else?

@@tempest82027 similar, im using erasing strike instead of rive and the gloves that give spell dmg on crit+the void cleave node for guaranteed erasing crit. also using abyssal decay and void beam since they also scale on spell and DoT so might as well

I 100% agree with asking the content creators to reveal new uniques. I Play Gwent - Witcher Card game and the content creators reveal most of the new upcoming cards. It really hypes up the upcoming patch and its free marketing.

first 1oo solo Abe kills people get special mtx item as a reward and go to hall of fame and then the next day the boss releases. why is it hard to think of that. would be kinda cool

totally -- i'm really looking forward to HH in 1.1. I think the whole ward thing got in the way of exploring all the different things you can do with it.

Seems like glyph of envy would be good when you get a T7 affix you want to slam, but the other three affixes are bad. It'll depend on the FP it takes, but it might be safer than trying to remove T5 affixes or spinning / sealing lower affixes.

You cannot use it on T7, as you cannot craft above T5.

@@dabu87 ah yes... So, really can't come up with a legitimate use for that glyph then. Except for very early items, except it won't drop until you're in empowered monos...

@@GuybrushTThreepwood Yes... I think it's a glyph because it was an easier way to implement it. It really should be a consumable, conceptually, but there is no consumable system yet.

He doesn't like channeled skills when the game rewards you with just pressing the channel button and closing your eyes

@@Sandy-ik1ic Most people love maximally braindead gameplay, but there's plenty of aRPG enjoyers who are bored of devs always catering to that majority.

@@blackomega34 well that was unnecessarily vitriolic. I'd say that if people like a specific build fantasy then it's ok for devs to support the playstyle. And it's not as if your hyper complex 5 button builds that require a full kit of uniques won't exist as a result of catering to those people. Imagine being able to play how you want in a role playing game. Crazy
