I fell in love with this game during Essence league, my first league, playing on a mini pc intel integrated graphics running at 800x600 res. The first time I logged in on a decent pc I fell in love again, it felt like a new game. P.S. they had me at FREE

why do these shadows flicker so much?

Does the interaction of different players skill works outside of couch coop ? Do they work on 6 mans ?

Obviously with like 20-50 ppl on the server the latency was good, but do you feel like the game was very fluid and responsive(engine optimization wise) ?

It would also be really cool if in co-op mode the elements of each players attacks can combine during a battle and create additional effects against monsters...but i think its too much for ggg

When I see this skill tree I have a stroke. 2 times I tried playing PoE1, once I got to act 5, once to act 9, just cant force to continue. Too convoluted and complicated without reason (trading is just terrible) and not fun. Diablo 4 on the other hand is just too simplified and basic. My sweet spot for complication/fun ratio is Diablo 2, Last epoch and Grim dawn.

It's crazy how I feel about PoE 1's graphics compared to the first time I played it in beta. I absolutely love it's art style and they've carried that over to PoE2. Man it just feels alive. D4 has made the game at least fun now, but the environment feels dead. It just feels like a background. PoE sucks you in. Like you're there. It's wild. That boss fight was intense lol. I feel like PoE boss arenas are so far and away the best in the genre. I love FF14 too and I feel like PoE's boss arenas are even better than ff14's.

if the game runs on such low fps as poe1 does then good night poe2... poe2 looks almost exactly like d4 does but d4 runs 60fps constantly on my 10 years old system the only thing new in my system is my gpu tho

I love the way the game looks and I'm excited for it, but your gamma feels too high and makes things feel a little too washed out and that kind of ruins the intended visuals for me.

I rather pay the $59-69 for this game than the garbage Blizzard keeps pushing out. I'm very hopeful that POE2 will be a game I (WE) can play for a long while, AND have fun too.

I've been enjoying PoE1 for seven years. But watching PoE2 videos has lowered my expectations a lot. PoE2 is still in development, and I know that all PoE2 videos only show part of the beginning of the game. I think all PoE2 videos use too much skill, even though they're early-level progressions. To be honest, the graphics quality of PoE2 isn't very impressive to me either. I know a lot of things will change when the full version of the game releases, but some of the UIs in the video seem to need a lot of changes to look simpler and cleaner than they are now. I know PoE2 is more focused on action combats than PoE1, but I still feel that the design or motion of some skills is too much. I don't think it's a bad choice for developers to create a variety of options for skill utilization. However, most of the skill designs in different classes I've seen in PoE2 so far have not appealed to me much.

Good footage, but whoever was playing that monk made me want to shout at him with some serious nerd rage. I keep seeing most folks not using the monks synergies that were presented to us in videos from GGG.

I personally don't really like the art style much. I feel like it is too sharp and there is way too much shimmering as a result. Also the UI still looks really rough. There was a lot of low hanging fruit they could have improved from POE1 which they didn't improve. The black bars on interactables and item pick ups is and was always a massive eye sore.. Really looking forward to trying it out though, but I'd rather not overhype POE2 just because "D4 bad" when its not really, it's just not designed for a super hardcore no lifer that can play 2k hours a season, nor should it be. The commentary comparing POE2 to D4's UI in the last video was very disingenuous btw subtractem. Taking a washed out stretched photo and comparing it to a 4k source video is hardly fair and I know you are a smart enough guy to understand that. :) If POE2 is an awesome game, let it stand on its own. The constant bickering between the two fanbases is annoying and honestly pretty childish.
