In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to put together your own build in Path of Exile and walk through an example together! The example build we go through together is very beginner and league starter friendly!

Notes About Build:
1. The Scion was not chosen as a starter class, as brand new players cannot access her. (Also, she’s in a rough spot right now :( )
2. Iron Reflexes was not taken, as we don’t have Unwavering Stance, so evasion can still be useful. If desired, you can take IR if you have a lot of evasion and want armour.

I hate 60 fps on YT :( I have too bad PC to play 60 fps and YT doesn't give me a choice of framerate - the highest with 30 fps is 480p.

define experienced player? i have around 205 hours and the game seems simple to me now....i understand its functions and how the game can serve you..

@ I got over 1600 hours and believe me the end game grind and seek for more damage, life power specific items ..AND I still do not find it THAT simple. Add to that the particular maps with special mods that MEANS the end of YOU and your grinding habits... but then you get this URGE of CHALLENGE to do it eventhough you got no chance to survive.... and you become stupid again. Then it makes you grind for MORE currencies to get more and better Items..it NEVERS ENDS.

@ Over 1200 hours in and I still havent reached to the very endgame bosses and I have managed to make only about 5 semi viable builds on my own. Then there are people who can make builds that kills the game instances (I'm looking at you OMGItsJousis) >_

I think I've watched all of the how to create a build type guides, and as a new player this is bar none the best. I feel like I can create any kind of build I can imagine using this as a template. Thanks!

very well done guide man. A lot of this was generally known to me, but the detailed analysis helped me in a huge way. Instead of relying on build guides to make anything semi-viable, i feel you have given me the tools to start from scratch and make a build of my own and really understand it on a deeper level.

This is the only channel I have found such high quality and can explain everything to a true beginner. Some of these other guys been playing so long they forget to an outsider they sound like they are speaking another language. Thanks for your videos they have helped me so much. I was getting a bit dismayed at playing but now i'm so excited again

This helped me a lot with understanding how important a plan is and how to make one - I just downloaded last night and now I don't feel so overwhelmed! I guess it pays to spend a good deal of time reading through the entire tree seeing what is where to help plan the best path.

i'm very new to POE and i gotta admit.....the guides you make have been better then ANYTHING i've found....much more professional and much more focused on EXPLAINING things....most people just spam out words like "get this. doesn't matter what it does just get it. i won't explain why you want it or why its important it just is. get it." sorta stuff....you are an amazing doode and i appreciate you.

After 240 hrs of gameplay, I can safely say, I did not even pass the first stage of the game's tutorial, because that's how I consider my stage for now. You are the only and the first person who brought light to my eyes about many things I did not know about gems and linking and many more. You deserve a big clap and a respectful handshake. Just made my very first build, it's a crit based Wild Strike Inquisitor with dual foils, and it's clearing out content pretty well. This video helped me get a better understanding of what it took to create a build, and therefore I wanted to thank you for creating this video. Without it I would never have been able to make a functioning build on my own.

Thank you for guide. I have died 50 plus times now with many builds and guides in Hardcore mode at act 5 Chamber of Innocence. Followed your guide with a dual wield Champion and have confidence I can do this with other builds too.
