When I first heard this, of course, I was wowed by the atmosphere, being the best "caves" theme I heard since the time I ventured in Tristram's depths. I wasn't prepared for the build up to Merveil's theme

Today is December 18, 2019. It has been 50 ~ 60 hours since I started to play the game. When I arrived at the beach with my character and I used the skills, I almost fall in love with the game, almost. But When I got into the Cavern of Anger and (0:12) started to play I thought ''man, this place... RPG intensifies'', but when that voice in 2:45 started to sing plus when I read the notes about merveil story in her boss room... I can say for sure, that this is the best song about a mad mermaid that I have ever heard. Thank you, Kamil.

This is quite an impressive track, especially the singing part : a few notes that represent the very essence of a siren's lament, its dangers and its melancholy at the same time, beautiful but fearsome indeed ... wow, well done.

And to think that all of this could've been avoided if Daresso had a bit of common sense and proposed to Merveil with a simple wedding ring instead of a cursed artifact he stumbled upon in Wraeclast.

That voice combined with the music at 2:45, is just how I imagine a siren's song is to lure the sailer men! Gotta give it to you Kamil Orman-Janowski, this track is one of my absolute favorites, at the same height as several iconic song tracks from other games!

I love this piece so much. The way it fits into the lore about Merveil is amazing and it is so incredibly tragic and haunting at the same time. It sends chills down my spine everytime I hear it in Act 1.

It's wonderful how the humming comes out of nowhere and goes away just as abruptly. Really captures what being lured by a siren would be like, I think. Caught me off guard when I played the game again and I loved it. Though I miss some things about the old OST, I enjoy how subtle the new tracks are.

This sets the feel of the first act: the depressing beginning of the game. As it is in a cave, it is somewhat creepy, but the main theme of this soundtrack, the singing part, the gentle melody, is very... Calming and loving, like the song of Merveil, who brought people into the cavern to die...

I just started path of exile. When I was in that zone and the music continued to play around 2:45, I literally just killed all the monsters that I was fighting as fast as possible and hid in a safe place so that I could chillingly listen to the track. Just amazing

Лучший ост по игре, который я слышал, песня сирены берет за душу, я играл всего 1 раз в эту игру, в плане вообще когда начал играть и в пещерах, я долго бегал и не спешил проходить уровень, так нравилось слушать как она поет, прям будто льет на душу бальзам. Спасибо Kamil Orman, вы прекрасно сделали сопровождение и атмосферность в этом произведении

Oh, I do believe this was meant to be Merveil's singing. When I listen to this I see her with my inner eyes - broken, dumped and exiled, left alone in this cruel land and tottaly mad. Waiting for eternity for her beloved Daresso and singing for him like she did years ago...

It is her.if I recall correctly when I first entered to the submerged passage there was a similar song playing but without the humming.when you enter her cave she knows you are there and speaks to you.throughout the dungeon you see her silhouette fading away to deeps of the cavern as you approach it and making you follow.According to the lore either on open seas or on shallow waters sirens used to lure unsuspecting sailors to their doom with their charming songs and their illisions of beauty.When I first entered to her cave the song from the submerged passage was playing and at some point she started humming and singing along with the same song concordantly.Knowing the siren lore,chills sent to my spine the hair stood up on my neck.I was immersed in the feeling that I was being hunted by a siren.I really loved her voice along with the song too(like it was supposed to be in the lore :D)I'm not that big of a fan of the game but details like this in games makes me appreciate the effort put in them.Such a great work...

According to the POE lore, Daresso become obsessed with Merveil (that's why Daresso is AKA the king of desire). When he become the champion of the arena of Theopolis he married Merveil with the most gorgeous jewel that he could find: The star of wraeclast. That gave Merveil the most beautiful voice in the world but also corrupted and cursed her (it's Vaal amulet) Because of this, Daresso went to a journey in order to cure his beloved, a journey which he will never come back. Merveil started to think that Daresso betrays her and ran off to some caves in a beach. Since then, she sings hoping that her voice will bring Daresso back and will attack to everyone else which happens to be nearby

Diablo hasn't been *THAT* good since II, least for me, if you want mindless action with challenges at the end game, III can be good, but it's just not the same. PoE has the right balance for all, it even got the atmosphere and soundtrack right
