Campto was already one of my favorite dinos but with this rework i love it even more!

Honestly i prefer the hop even though it seems op. Sometimes i dont want to fight just chill and watch others fight LOL i love the bunny/kanga hops so much

mix packing for herbis should be allowed to an extent, herding and all that.

Campto should have a strong kick like a kangaroo, kangaroo's can disembowel people with one kick

Okay, that jumping is looks really fun.

The quest haven't changed but what makes it good is that you can do a bunch of quest then when you collect it's so satisfying because you have like half a growth stage of growth

I am cleaning a campto right now, the most complete I have ever seen.

The funny part is that you spawned in a reworked area of the map .-. Lol the two major places is sharp tooth marsh (it looks like a beautiful swamp) and young grove (little waterfall and pools its a sanctuary for small dinos or babys now) Campto is a fun dino to play to mess with people but it cant really hold its own in a fight so having the hop lets it get away easier although deff could use a cool down increase Ill give you a summary of whats changed Sucho has a new ability to deal more damage to wet dinos along with some balancing Sarco has the ambusher ability and also has a land dash ability it can use to catch or run from almost anything at a major stam cost Laten has many new buffs and is alot stronger during night times in large enough packs they can take down large prey easily if coordinated Stego has a stam regen buff during the day Dasp has a new attack along with increase attack damage Cera has lost its bonebreak but gained a new charged damage bite and has a better ability to jump and take fall damage (capable to run down pachys its a good counter to them along with fast med teir dinos) The metri has putrid scales that inflicts poision on the attacker and also has nighttime buffs Meg has a few new abilities along with venom immunity These are just off the top of my head they are adding alot of new stuff in the near future thats why you have empty slots currently and the ability to claim quest allows for adults to stock up on them an turn them in when they die or to better save marks to not lose them when they die Some of the stuff they are working on is that the denion (small raptor) is getting a ability to rip meat chunks off living players The conc is getting a jumping attack Herbs with stomp are getting it changed to dealing aoe damage Alot is changing so id say expect changes with what dinosaurs you see more of

The new ability for campto is so much fun BUT I agree with your opinion about the quests, I was hoping new quests but it's the same old same old yet again, I really wish they would make more unique quests and not the endless collect, deliver and replenish quest, they are really really boring and that why I play in passive growth server too, just not in Islanders because I don't like too many rules. I like being able to mixpack with different herbies so when they can't it just feels dumb.

I love that character screen with all the campto in frount, you can spy on them XD

A speed metri or cera who stay persistent will eventually catch up to you since they have stamina thay can out last yours. Once a metri gets his venom on you it is over lol

If u die with unclaimed quests u keep them so u can claim them back wen u respawn 😊

the collect reward on quests change is actually good you can save uncollected quests that stay there after you die, so in a sense, you can now save growth and marks infinitely and never worry about them when dying trophy quests are also saved, so you can use them to grow every time you die by just hitting a button

While I was playing smilodon there was a compto that was trolling me it just was 3 calling and when I chased it it was just too fast In the end it ran of for good

sad thats its weak wich ofc but therefor u can annoy and be fast i love to annoy ppl even better when im in a group and pot give campto its tail attack back or atleast give it a back legs attack thats only for back legs so u can hop but the back legs could be a kick

In my opinion, Campto's Hop ability needs to have some sort of downside, especially for how fast the cooldown is. I would say I'd like to see a 'tired' status effect after the ability is used, a timer that stops you from running for a bit after the Hop ability has been used, the duration is dependent on how long the ability was used for. I'd also like to see them toy with the idea of abilities like that and charge possibly draining water and/or food faster whilst they are in use as movements like that would be taxing on the animal's body.

Yeah that HUD thing is extremely distracting. I ended up looking at it every single time it popped up. Things like that actually make it harder to pay attention
