I have been fascinated with this shape and the parts that have become flat symbols representative of different cultural/religious beliefs and knew there was some deeper ancient spiritual information that was just being represented in some incomplete form. I believed altogether it would make sense. Thank you for putting it altogether for us! When I was young I had only a tiny bit of memory and I didn't really understand what I drew then, and with time it was all but forgotten. I am from India and the symbol of cube for creation and transformation is called Swastik and is considered auspicious and always present in some form in any ceremony either in the printing form on a wedding card or drawing on floor to welcome guests outside house with a white powder.
