@GM Steelhaven pathfinder is practically 3rd edition dnd with custom rules it only slightly different even if the blood war wasn’t what it would be called here it would be the exact same event just named differently

@@Scarface_saiyan There is no real analogy to the Blood War in Golarion and it's an intentional choice by the setting's creator, James Jacobs: "On top of that, I've always disliked the Blood War. It shifts fiends away from being monsters that prey upon mortals into monsters who are more interested in fighting each other. Fiends of different alignments don't necessarily get along in the Great Beyond, but neither do they do much distracting of each other. Leaving demons and devils and everything in between able to focus their full attention on us poor mortals."

Weirdly enough, the Inner Sea Gods Asmodeus entry has nothing about Cayden in it, and despite me going between the Inner sea gods and the Gods and Magic books, I not only forgot Cayden in it, He also has Mother Spider listed as an enemy.

Well, that's the good thing about Pathfinder. As a rule, it's your gameworld. So, in your world, how does Asmodeus get worshiped? With what we know of him so far, he doesn't generally care about Mortals all that much, but he does want to have the world in a state of Order, with strong being subservient to the weak. Asmodeus allows blood Sacrifices, so perhaps the first signs are the discarded bodies of Bulls, Goats, Lions or Snakes. Later on, you find one of the Asmodeus Holy texts, or perhaps scarps of half written contracts between a party and some devils for power to take control of the city. You could find unholy symbols, Ruby blades and red garments as more clues. Perhaps multiple members of the Settlement Guard are seen with more devilish features, or items and it is revealed they've taken charge of many of the guard positions etc. There's alot of ways to do it, You could take any devil worship type evidence from real life and flavor it to be Asmodeus to be honest.

I mean, maybe he never said, hey I won't kill you? Or more seriously, maybe he hates the fact that he betrayed his brother and that's why he's now so strict about not breaking your word? He regrets the open trickery he performed so he forces himself to stick to his word? Who knows!

I think it would be closest to the last option. They are totally willing to bypass each other, but usually do it via political maneuvering or back alley deals rather than straight murder lol for example, the iconic villian Lazzero Dalvera was a priest of Abadar, but was actually following Asmodeus. Instead of killing his rival, he falsified records to get her imprisoned, so he used law and order to get her out of the picture.

just take a look at the boulders gate game it's supposed to be based in the sword coast and the only straight yt male in that game is an enemy

@@docop8926 well baulders gate and DND are wizards of the coast, pathfinder is by paizo a different company. As for white male gods you've got Caydean and abadar, both white men.
