The main cause of short PR is the slow raising the initial QRS ., rather than premature atrial contraption this from my point of prospective . Thank you .

e ecg you show up for wpw syndrome is actually what happens in av blocks. As far as I know, in wpw there is a wider qrs complex with a delta wave (a spike before the top of the R, and the increased heart hate by activation of the AV node because of the re-entrance of the signal. Therefore, It increases HR both in the atria and in the ventricles, not just in the atria with more P waves, that's AV block.

Thanks, this video is concise, precise and practice. But you should improve in the pathophysiology of arrthyms as re entry, problems with automatism, for some topics that review with more detail. But, it's great, thanks again

Like Kata, I wonder about the hyperpolarized fase too. As far as I've been taught, this R over T phenomena could happen in a normal myocardia cell with no hyperpolarized cells?? Could you please explain this more deeply? Thank you!

Hi there you said at 19.10minutes, hyperpolarisation is at -90mV. How is that so when it would be a postive value during the polarization phase? I'm a high school student so please bear with my naivety! Cheers

I don’t understand why the cardiomyocytes are hyperpolarized in stage 1 and 2? Shouldn’t they be depolarized because of calcium entering in the cell? A least all the other action potential graphs that I have searched so far show positive values in the stages 1 and 2 of the myocardial action potential (And also your video of action potentials in the heart). And the explanation for the R over T phenomena doesn’t work if it is depolarized. Thanks for helping me.
