Perogi jaisa hi Assam me ek type ka pitha banta hain, Bihu ke time, primarily Magh Bihu time. Basically bahar se semi-circle momo shape mein hota hain aur andar nariyal ko kured ke uske saath cheeni ya gur mix karte hain. We eat it after steam boiling. You can even fry it if you like. I like the steamed ones. 😋 Maa kasam mera toh ye comment likhte hi muh mein paani aa gaya. I'm literally Drooling 😋😋😋

We(bengali) have a similar sweet like sweet perogi . Basically we use fried coconut or "Sandesh" in a dough of crust rice or flour. It tastes better in case of " crust chawal or rice". Then we dipped in milk (milk is heated and add some sugar ). Tastes superb ..... 😘

Hi!! Yeah here in Germany it is very common dish and it is so delicious. Its not only meat and rice but also verity of stuffing for these cabbage leaf rolls. In its not that much common in Berlin but in other sates of Germany you can find it almost every where.
