A lot of Orlando Magic fans did not know what to think of Jett Howard. Nobody really knew what the Magic had in their second-year sharpshooter after his gap year in the G-League. Everyone had their eyes on him during Summer League just out of curiosity. He delivered in a big way in his first Summer League game. The patience and development appear to have paid off.
Plus, the Orlando Magic are drawn into East Group A in the NBA Cup this year. That puts them in the Group of Death and a chance to prove once again they are ready to compete at a higher level.

I believe ppl forget Jett was coming off injury in college anyway smh we weren’t gonna rush his progression seeing how he was a top pick… This Front Office had just put reliable shooting around bigs who can drive and pg who love to dish and as well as get aggressive going to the paint LETSSS GOOO MAGIC!!!!

Fans that have made comments about Jett Howard being a busy doesn't understand the bigger picture Orlando is building with this team. Amazing season, proving were ahead of schedule but we knew realistically we were not contenders "yet".. Develop your players and don't show all your cards until we're ready..

Bad thing from the first game: Da Silva, AB, and Jett(also shout out to Jay Huff) were so good yesterday they will probably be shut down. I know it’s summer league, but it would have been nice to see those three go and dominate this league and win the championship. I get it, “summer league…doesn’t matter…you don’t want them to get injured…” blah blah blah. It would be nice to see Orlando give those 3 a summer to show off and build confidence. Statement of intent. But I digress. Positive…that was some very beautiful basketball. When those 4 played, the ball was moving, there was cutting, there was a PnR threat. Great defense. In theory this is how the main squad should play. If so, it will be another fun season with a lot of victories. I have no idea if they win a playoff round(it’s very difficult), but I think they could push for 50 wins, if they stay relatively healthy, and a top 4 seed. Love where the team is at. Find some minutes for Jett and Da Silva!!!(Im assuming AB already has a lot of minutes locked up)

Yeah... no he doesn't. Carter is super valuable because he can defend the paint and the perimeter and hit jumpers. That 3-point shooting from Carter is valuable. Huff was really good though. Would love to see him get a two-way spot.

its great great that jett had good game but its summer league. Lets stake it easy ok can he do this in the nba. WAIT A MIN U DONT DRAFT FOR THERE ROOKIE YEAR?????. so what about banchero wagner. but theres tons of players that ball out in summer league and they dont do anything in nba. it was still a reach on jett. Got to see more . since we didnt upgrade any position and sign a player who has never avg 15ppg, while we could of got a shooter in free agency this kid better step up. VERY SILLY TO GET EXCITED ABOUT A HUGH REACH HAVING GOOD GAME IN SUMMER LEAGUE. AWESOME CONTENT AS USUAL KEEP UP GREAT WORK
