Anxiety is the same emotion as excitement, and the whole deal is to reframe thinking. Also, I try to refer to something I already know, and for example, I tell myself it's like Call of Duty - which is a totally noobish game in comparison to Tarkov, from my perspective, and if I die then I die. The only difference is that I don't know the enemys' location. Additionally, I affirm myself, like with the CoD example above. But also tell myself that everything is gonna be alright, it's just a game, that I should relax cus otherwise what's the point of playing in it. I also tell myself I enjoy the experience, enjoy the competitive mode, etc. - try anything that resonates with you. If that doesn't help I slow down my breathing - 3 seconds for breath in and 3 seconds for breath out. The outcome is amplified if you mix it with the things I described above. Lastly, I try EFT (what an ironic name lol) tapping - hard to explain that but you'll find tons of resources online. In short, you tap some parts of your face and the physical impact has a healing effect on your mentality. Cheers bro PS. Try to watch less Tarkov videos cus you frame your experience with what you know so I bet you feel anxious sometimes, especially when a streamer is currently dealing with stressful circumstances (scav ambush, gargantuan fight, etc.). I noticed that for the majority of time, I enjoy Tarkov vids but it's just a matter of a few scenes which flips my reframed emotions upside down and excitement becomes anxiety instead. PPS. I'm writing it from the perspective of a person who after many years long break came back to FPS video games and Tarkov is super hardcore, it's not a casual CoD, BF or Battlebit. It puts people on the verge, and hence it made me think that I probably just need to play more FPS video games and learn to accommodate my emotions and let them grow so I'm ready for the mature Tarkov thriller-like raids. I just need to give myself time, I've played around 100 hours so far and it's my first wipe.

The more you play and learn the maps, player traffic, spawn points, common quest POI etc.. you tend to be surprised less and better adapted to raiding. When you begin the spiritual embodiment of a "chad" phase, the anxiety is replaced by anticipation. Doubt is replaced by "W" key. Everything you wear will be BiS because you will start gearing up to compete against squads. You will hold your trigger on the first and get the last guy in line first. You will leave bodies in favor of survival and struggle with too much loot loot too.

@@Ritual_Abuser well said man. I noticed that the more raids I do in a row, the more fun I have and less anxious I am. That said I play with friends so I don’t do solo raids. These still kinda frighten me, it’s like before an exam - I’m stressed but once after or during, more relieved I’m. BiS is the meta, cus with low tier stuff you can only take down scavs. Do scav runs and earn money, and spend it on PMC load out.

@@kvrtman_yeah, my first raid of the day is always the most stressful. After the first raid I feel like I can enjoy the game more and do enjoy it more. Now I’m feeling more confident doing quests and running around the map. I also try to minimize my weight, since I don’t want to get bogged down if I’m questing.

Maaan.. love how humble your voice is, you sound like you were new to EFT and suddenly BOOM BOOM double-one-tap. Crazy skills on top of that humbly, chilly voice, brother. Really loving it. Actually it's entirely contrary to Captn Ed Mercer, I like him, don't get me wrong, he was incredibly good in The Cycle: Frontier and his voice matched his style 10/10, but he came over to Tarkov and now his voice is still overly confident like Vin Diesel on Riddick whereas his skill and knowledge don't match this by any means, like 0,5/10 ROFL, it's even slightly cringe and hurts a tiny bit, but I still love him, he'll catch up in a couple of thousand hours ingame. Nevertheless, you really got me with your combo, love your video

Oh man low level timmys got him with mp5s, max respect,, yeah patience was vital there in 1st raid, great 2 tap also at the start,, let them run about killing then looting killa then wipe um out after they kill him,, defo a spot on solo interchange loved it,, great 2 see some timmys wrecking it also,, wish they got to see the high level loot of that player they killed though be4 u wrecked um :-) nothing like killing fully geared players when such low level is great Thanks great vid

7th wipe, this wipe has been the least fun atleast for me. It’s SO SLOW, everyone just sits around, the game used to be way more fast pace and fun, also used to be more skill based, now it’s who can sit and hold and angle longer.

As a solo, I only play interchange because it has 3 levels, it easy to avoid players if you only want to loot and pop scavs for daily tasks.

Love your content, but your looting is always so weird to me. For example, your TV rig was insured, you could have ditched it a few feet to the right and just taken that other guy's TV rig. I know about ditching insured gear but personally I Don't like doing like that as I feel like that's not how it was intended to play like! Not sure why but that's just the way I like to roll! :D I don't stream yet but 100% plan to! Right now I just talk to myself about what's going through my mind while I'm playing cause it puts me at ease while playing solo and when a raid is going good then I make a effort to be more vocal & entertaining

Got it, totally get you about talking to yourself and why you do it. Your gameplay is really top notch, I always watch the full video when you put something out. About the gear, I get that too, typically doesn’t apply in my case when it comes to armor, I ditch them all the time, but guns I like to keep if they served me well.
