You only use an NSAID, when there’s inflammatory pain, or if you have fever. Look at the facts and see what the drug can do and how you can be able to take it by the instructions

If no history of gastric or peptic ulcers, not pregnant, no liver, heart or kidney disorders, no asthma, no allergies to nsaids then maybe ok to hand out to patient

Maybe he wasn’t in need for any medication, as he mentioned he got that injury when he was leaving the hospital.These scenarios happen too often.

Then why is lisinopril first line for CKD?

Not just lasinopril ACEI in general. ACEI reduces proteinuria in ckd which preserve kidney function.
