Can we talk about the sheer coincidental irony thats staring us in the face? The guy who played Elijah Mikaelson, a vampire, on "The Originals" now playing doctor on a show called "Saving Hope". (For those of you who don't get it, Hope is a character in "The Originals" who was Elijah's niece and who he spent the entire series saving and protecting. Side note, he was also portrayed as a man with a lot of blood on his hands (literal and metaphorical) and now in this show he saves lives as a doctor.

Fire Song you can’t begin to understand if you’ve never been in that position. For a child in a situation like that we tend to justify not saying anything about something like that as “protecting our parents “ when in reality it’s because we don’t want to admit to ourselves we’re scared or that something is wrong. So yes to someone on the outside looking in it might seem stupid but to someone who has been there it’s understandable. Irrational yes but understandable
