Growing up in “farming country”, Craig Morgan’s song “International Harvester” was always my favorite.

FUN FACT: I grew up on the lake where this video was filmed (J. Percy Priest Lake) in Nashville, TN. Craig kept his houseboat at one of the marinas and he named his boat Redneck Yacht Club. There is an area of the lake called Party Cove and he mentions it in the song. People tie their boats together in the cove and party all day long.

This was before his son passed away. Craig Morgan was a huge hit, but his son also died. If you rememberfrom a boating accident. When he came out with the song from Kelly Clarkson's show. That was his first song back after his son had died.

Yayyy! Craig Morgan has some fun stuff, too. A couple songs to go with this on a fun playlist are Chris Janson "Buy Me a Boat", and Travis Tritt "Country Club". I think a lot of country artists start off doing fun songs, then move into more weighty subject matter as they grow in wisdom.

Craigs son died in a boating accident in 2016. And his music has been focused more on the church and spirtual aspects lately. He also re-enlisted into the army reserves and was just giving a commendation a few weeks ago if my memory serves me. God bless

I grew up going to a few lakes around Georgia, Lake Sinclair was the largest. We also got down at The Falls where hundreds of kids would slide down the rock falls and pools. I miss doing that but I’m 65 now and all I do now is ride in the boat. 😂

I live up in central MN, almost every weekend we drive to our friends house where the only buildings in town are a bar and couple garages, a group of us go on the local lake with a couple pontoons and couple boats and tie them together and just have a good time.

I didn’t realize until yesterday that Blake Shelton and Aaron Tippon were in that video. I think I spotted Neal McCoy in there too. “Paradise” and “When a Man Can’t Get a Woman Off His Mind” are a couple of good Craig Morgan songs that are worth checking out.

I'm born and raised in South Carolina on Lake Wylie (before it was trashed) and this was our life! We could swim at 6-7 months old.. waaay before we could walk. And if we weren't skiing, tubing, on a jetski... we were fishing! Day & Night. Oohh how I miss the redneck yacht life!! Still live on the Lake... but it's nothing like it use to be 😢 but is still my home, and I thank God for every second! ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻

Houseboat is a mini house normally on pontoons. That has a porch either on the end or all the way around it. Some would have that green artificial green turf on the porch.

When I was 12 or 13, my dad bought a houseboat and had it moved to lake Lanier. spent every weekend up there until I turned18. Great times and great memories.

I grew up listening to Craig and have seen him probably 4+ times in concerts when he plays for our military! My favorite songs are Bonfire, That’s what I love about Sundays, Tough, Soldier, Love Remembers, Sippin on the simple life, little bit of life, I’ll be home soon! Soooo many good songs! You should do a playlist of reactions of his songs!

You said if you can't see your feet in the water its not for you, there are tons of lakes that are crystal clear to 15 - 20 feet or more along with several beaches where you can still see the bottom in 6 + feet. This was a type of passage growing up in the 70's & 80's and continues on today for lake and beach goers today.

Houseboats are definitely a thing, but like trailers in a trailer park, they are usually docked in one place and don't move. One advantage of them is they require almost no land. Just a thin strip the length of the boat to dock at and maybe a spot to park your car. If you watch the movie, "Sleepless in Seattle," the home where Tom Hanks character and his son live is a houseboat.

this is early craig morgan quick history on him before he was a singer he spent 10 years in the army rangers and at the time i found out his info he was a reserve deputy for hillsborough county sheriffs office in tampa also there is a young long haired blake shelton in the video

Should check out table rock lake. Can see clear down even at 50 feet. One of the clearest lakes I've seen in the midwest.
