What I do not get, is this...why set the subscription in tiers? That is so very unfair to ones who want to give something to the creator, but can only give what they can afford. There should be just one tier...Simple.

Hi if i buy one month subscription and watch my creator video of a same month, and on a next month i don't pay, so do i have access of my first month videos ?? Or it will also removed ???

So basically a youtube channel membership gives us the edge since it promotes with the "join" button and the fees are really similar

Hey, I want to know one thing to feel safe starting Patreon: It says the transaction fee for paypal is 1€ per payment and payoneer 0,75€ per payment. but does that meant that if 100 people pay 3 € it is 200 € left only thinking about the transaction fee because it is on every transaction the users make.. or is it 299 € - site fees because it is collected on the patreon account and then transfered to me?

I’m scared to take anything out of the payout section untill I understand the taxes more? Like when I file my taxes with the irs here in Florida. Are they going to say I owe them money? How does that work??

Patreon could be a good site but its billing system is totally garbage and totally discourages people from subscibing to the creators. You get charged at the first of each month. This means, if you subscribe the last day of a month, you'll be charged a whole month and the next day you'll be charged again another whole new month. Pretty much you pay for a month and get only what's left of the month. This is outrageous. It's really shame that a site like this pretty much can scam you.

I don't think Patreon makes Patrons pay right away. All the payments are on the 1st of each month. I am a creator and All the payments are on the 1st.

This is no longer the case. Creators now have the option to change when members get charged.

dude if someone donates you $1000. you get $900 --PATREON fees $844 --Paypal fees $744 -- Bank Tranfer fees $300 - $690 -government fees depending on your country. IF IT IS JUST ME OR THIS WHOLE PROCESS IS JUST BEYOND STUPID? why can't someone just get $1,000 ON CRYPTO polygon for example. and GET $1,000 - 0 chain fees (matic, sol etc.), AND ACTUALLY be able to buy anything just across that payment? why CRYPTO is demonized if it's actually avoiding the fkn NERD SCAMMERS that charge fee from everything

Yes I just noticed in time, that I will get billed again in 8 days time if I signed up to someone today. I will have to wait until the start of the next month to avoid being over charged.
