There are MVs and they are excellent but I recommend the live performances more. Also, that's his style of singing. It's a laid-back sort of vocalization with a lot of vocal runs and improvs, the kind that isn't uncommon in soul and r&b, which he is heavily influenced by. Hes got strong basics but doesn't really adhere too much to technicalities and just freely sings. About being happy, I guess it depends on the person, both the one saying it and the one hearing it. Far as I know, this guy works hard on not overcomplicating things for himself and others, so to me, he's not telling us to just be happy like it's easy. He's saying we should take steps that would allow us to be that which isn't easy by any means but doesn't mean we shouldn't do it. Because that is something that's 100% within our control, even when it doesn't feel like it is. Btw, dusk can be a verb. It means to grow dark.
