What I find hilarious is that she _strongly_ emphasized the "fake" country accent people accuse her of. Gyllenhaal started this relationship just a couple weeks after Speak Now was released. Meaning, it was about double platinum already before they started. She gets drunk in the video and acts like a child --- because she was only 20 and couldn't go to a bar and buy a beer, so any drinking had to be at home or a hotel room. And, she is a super lightweight. She said on Fallon she has two drinks and thinks she's a wizard. Even now, "Drunk Taylor" will go viral in 5 seconds. I love the fact that the video is a dream sequence. Her first one of those was Picture To Burn on her debut; the most relevant was Speak Now, on Speak Now -- also about her disrupting a wedding. And her drawing an = sign in the cake frosting during the credits, alluding to Ed Sheerhan's album that was just released. . . . .

To me this sounds like a classic early 2000s country, I enjoy it a lot. Also seeing that just like All Too Well, this song was written by 22-year-old Taylor about the crappy way Jake Gyllenhaal treated her (he always said she wasn't funny, made her feel like her music was mediocre and he went to one of those indie concerts and skipped her 21st birthday party, got together with his friends who were in their 30s and made her feel ignorant, etc) I would say the song isn't that prickly.

re: bathroom fixtures. That looooong urinal was common in older bars. Less chance of a drunk missing the urinal. When I was in Germany, they sometimes just put up a stainless steel version chest high with a drain gutter at the floor. 🙄🙄😂
