I’m diabetic, and while I’ve never tasted my urine, I can tell you that it’s sticky as hell when my diabetes isn’t under control, so…yeah. And you know how they used to detect diabetes way back in the day? Urine tasted sweet. Back around 600 BC doctors noted that ants were attracted to the urine of diabetics. They didn’t come out with diabetic test strips until the 1950s, so before that…taste test! And this concludes today’s seminar of TMI about diabetes and tasting urine.

Everything he said about diabetes was wrong. There's no sugar or carbs in a lambs leg. There is in fruits and vegetables. I get the feeling he just thought there were nice foods and mean foods. I don't think he ever got that it was chemistry.
