This is one of the most boring shows I've ever heard, and I'm just here to warn you all that most of this sucks and is about Howard Stern. Those two sections above are worth listening to, but not the rest.

I love how Patrice can appreciate funny even when someone is previously insulting him. That Stern fan who eventually said, “oh, fuck you, bitch” to Anthony made Patrice like him just a little bit. It was so real. There’s a great respect to be had for someone who can respect and appreciate pure honesty in all contexts. RIP Treeky. We need you now more than ever.

Yeah as someone who's been around black people and white people it was cringe whenever they were trying to ask Patrice to call in while shitting and have Travis hangout with a phone outside... Patrice definitely took it better than most he played it well by laughing at it and saying leave in a joking way. Even Anthony knew he said "Patrice is not this kinda guy", "he's not like Jimmy" referring to not wanting a mic on him while shitting. Obviously this is just dumb ass Opie most white people aren't that dumb but I doubt suge knight would appreciate having a camera in the bathroom with him

Opie became very insecure and unstable because he felt he couldn't keep up with the funny. BTW this was never his role once the show turned into the "comedian hangout show" that it turned into. The fans had to blame someone/something for the decline in the show's quality.... especially when Ant was let go. The easiest target was Greg, and a decent amount of the blame is on him for letting the fans get to him. From the outside, Ant was by far what held the funny of the show together of the 2. No one can deny that. But look at Ant now, try as he might he cannot hold a comedic show together even when he has went through some of the funniest guys around. OnA was a classic radio show that will probably never be matched because of Opie's knowledge of how to manage a comedic talk show and Ant's pure comedic talent.

Something this old constantly getting new comments if you sort by newest. Means people will constantly be discovering this for the next 10 years at least. When this shit dies I'll be sad I have all this shit on a hard drive I don't want to steal this channels thunder but if it ever disappears I promise it'll come right back up in a day. We need to preserve this it doesn't happen like this anymore. Buy a $500 hard drive (for that price for just storing audio you could store 100 more radio or internet shows that are starting to disappear) and you can reliably store every O&A minute on then re release it when this get fucked.

I'm sorry for tony and opie. Somewhere they lost the relationship but I think it's because of the listeners always saying opie sucked. Yeah he ruined bits but they both suck now separate. Together is gold

Opie thinks that jes Damone from fast times cause wherever he is that's the place to be. Hes on satellite and "that's the right move". Then hes on free FM and satellite and he days that's the move. Unlike Howard who "just took the Check". Then he started bashing satellite radio then free FM goes away and the merger happened and now that's the move to make. Now he thinks that doing a Facebook live show for 30 people is "the place to be".

Someone said this show was from 2006. I don’t think they had any animosity towards each other yet. If they did, I don’t think it boiled over onto the air yet.

This really isnt a bad episode. Patrice disappears for an hour due to stomach issues (and probably fear of joining in on the Howard bashing). Opie is as lame as always, but it was still fun listening to Stern and Imus talk about O&A. There are some really good laughs throughout.

Ya opie, u "don't care" so much, that stern DOESNT care, but your show goes through line by line of stern's show. Opies insecurity was HILARIOUS
