I know it hard sometimes to find the right foundation for your skin, so I thought I would share my favourite products and share my tips on picking and choosing the right foundation.

Ebony Rose you could try using a conceal and correct product like mac pro's one then apply your foundation

Thank jesus this video has come! Omg! I swear i've bought like three different foundations in the past three weeks because on the shop they looked like my colour but then it turned lighter than my skin and i ended up looking crazy! I will definitely try all the steps in here and i will even try the 'diy' colour mixture to see if i can work my colour tone. Thankkkks so much Path 💗

my struggle was the fact that i have more yellow undertones but most companies think if you're a WOC you have red undertone so I always have trouble. I finally found something but i might have to get rematched in the summer

I swapped to B. Even Caramel a month or so ago and was honestly like 'MAC who?'... 'Bobbi Brown what?'. It's amazing! no breakouts either.

Can I ask what shade you are in Mac? I've been looking at this in Superdrugs but struggle to work out what shade I could be. Hope you don't mind me asking?

Sure, in Matchmaker I have to mix 7 and 7.5, studio fix powder nw43, and studio sculpt nw45. You can see my issue, mac has no one colour that just works completely. Matchmaster is the closest but breaks me out. The B. foundation is actually a golden brown. No weird white/grey tinge, not too red, not too yellow, just brown. Hope that helped.

***** I thought so too when I bought it. It was buy one get one half price but decided to be cautious and just bought the one. I wore it for two days and then regretted not having bought two and saved money. Not that it's expensive but still, savings!

Definitely. But only if you use something with a large surface area like a flat kabuki or the flat side of the RT sponge. - I first tried the RT expert face brush and it was terrible. - It says on the bottle that the best way is to use your fingers which is also really good. What I do is moisturise, prime, apply with fingers and then use a flat kabuki or sponge just on the cheeks where I need more coverage. Perfect every time.

i find it so scrumptious when i see pics of women with your complexion do makeup with concealer and highlighter...it just * GLOWS* the contrast of the complexion and the highlighter is DIVINE!!!! im a bit brown so when i do it, i dont get that exact pop.

Need to try Luminous Silk! I think Illamasqua and Bobbi Brown have the best colour ranges, most people should find a shade for them in their ranges. It's a shame that there aren't loads of drugstore options for WOC, but that one from Superdrug sounds amazing. Will have to look into that more!

I know people who make things like getting feedback so I wanted to tell you that this video is amazing. You're just so good at talking. You stay so on subject without going off on tangents but you still crack some funny jokes and tell us about your experiences with things. You brighten my day so much patricia (and thats my moms middle name too lol) like youre so genuinely happy and funny and helpful. In going to summer camp for 8 weeks and have super oily acne prone skin and ive been using the maybelline dream matte but it comes off so easily and makes me look so oily too, but you have opened my eyes to the wonders of liquid foundation. I just hope i find one that matches my skin tone in time lol :)

Thanks for the tip on buying a foundation I need to try that next time I got to the mall looking for a new foundation. I swear by Revlon colour stay!!! It is everything and I have oily combination skin. I'm relatively new to wearing foundation and I generally wear it when I'm going out somewhere fancy or if I have a presentation at school and I wan to look nice lol. So my current bottle has lasted me for ages and I FINALLY finished it so I want to step my game up and venture into the high end brand. I'll give Lancome and Bobbi Brown a try and see how they go. When I first saw the superdrug foundation I was so impressed by just the look of it. It reminded me of mac matchmaster (my fave) because its not red and its not yellow. Its quite neutral which suits me best. Only thing is the darkest shade is too dark and the one lighter is too light. Im just waiting on more colours then I'll defo buy it, especially since you said its matte.

I have been wanting 2 foundations lately. The prices makes me gulp. Its the gorgio and the lancome. You convinced me I will go get it.......as soon as my foundation is done
