Part 1: • Patrick Bet-David on F...
Part 3: • Patrick Bet-David on L...
--------
In this clip, Patrick Bet-David continued to narrate his interesting life journey. After his mother moved back to Iran, Patrick stayed in the U.S. and lived with his sister, selling his Chevy to make ends meet. He was innocently arrested for being thought to be part of a notorious gang, adding to Patrick's challenging life situation. Eventually, he joined the Army and later attended Santa Monica College for a short stint, motivated by the life of his hero, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Patrick then began working at Bally Total Fitness and later at Morgan Stanley just before 9/11. He transitioned to Transamerica, World Financial Group, for more than seven years, and in 2009, Vlad established his own insurance company. The agency grew from 66 to 45,000 agents across the U.S. before being sold to Integrity Marketing Group. The company facilitated individuals to get an insurance license and sell life insurance and annuities, mostly on a part-time basis. He clarified they did not sell auto insurance and the goal was to help people improve their financial situations.

A real self made man disclosing what he does and how he did it. I worked at a restaurant and they only hired pretty young girls as servers. It really does work. This guy did it in the life insurance business with young Spanish speaking women. Makes sense. I can see how that would work, especially in an increasingly Hispanic US population. I like the transparency of this guy.

@tsmithdir

MLMs are not scams. MLM is nothing more than a business and revenue generation model. The harsh truth is that MLMs expose the realities of our society. In short, the 80/20 rule is on point. Most people are either not capable and/or refuse to do what it takes to succeed. And, what it takes to succeed is thick skin, perseverance, and the ability to ignore losers (quitters and cowards).

His pitch of asking a person, are you happy with your job? How much money are you making? What are your dreams? What kind of money do you need to do that? Reminded me of a sleazy AMWAY salesperson from back in the day. When I was young and naive, I worked with a guy who did Amway on the side, so he hooked me line and sinker, so I invited him to my house, and he spewed his script on my Dad, who almost kicked his ass ending up throwing him out. Never again.

Exactly!! I know enough about MLM Ponzi schemes to know that PBT didn't 'hire' young Latina girls. He scammed them out of their meager funds by promising them riches. The only way MLM or Ponzi schemes make money is to keep new money coming into the scam. You sell them the 'training' and 'sample' kits for several hundred dollars a copy and then tell them they can buy product at cheap prices to maintain their 'level' in the company. The product makes no money. It is the 'tools' that make money. Then, once they lose their house, marriage, and families that they have been brainwashed into scamming - they lose their storage lockers full of product that they purchased in order to stay in the game. So f'in low. @@fightsportspace7327

He couldn't explain what PhP did very clearly, because it can easily sound like a pyramid scheme. It's Multi-Level-Marketing life insurance. Not an insurance company like AIG etc. Not sure why he couldn't just say it's an MLM. No shame in that....or is there?
