I saw Sylvester at the hippodrome in London, I asked the security at his dressing room, please may I say thank you. The security went in and asked, sylvester invited me in and signed a black and white photograph and gave me a red rose from the flowers in his dressing room. He was gone a year later. Truly blessed!

I met Sylvester at the Marlin Beach Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale Florida and partied with him several times after that. Fabulous human being!

First time I heard this music I was about 19 and it was playing in a gay bar named The Pier in Washington D.C. and loved it so much that after moving to the deep south was able to find it on a 12" lp and still play it to remember " the good old days"
