I disagree, that ball was wobbily, unconfident throw cause it should have been picked off. Number 31 didn't do his JOB & that would have sealed the 9ers victory cause the guys upstairs are paid to wait till the 4th quarter to call the plays they know will work.

I'm impressed how this guy just doesn't do any mistakes when it counts. In the overtime when you already got a fieldgoal against you, any snap could be the end of all hopes but Patrick Mahomes just starts to function then. This is why he is the best of his generation by far and attacks the alltime greats already. 1 5 is special!

Mahomes faces a lot of pressure in the first half including the INT but he know when to turn it up and make some clutch plays. He’s now 9-2 when trailing 7+ in the postseason.

He's a great coach and he's great at strategy. However, his one Achilles heel is building around system quarterbacks. Now granted this is the most ridiculously stack team that he's ever built but it still goes to show you that an elite quarterback such as Mahomes could carry an inferior team, while Purdy, having the best overall team in football, and it's not even close, comes up short when it matters. Shanahan needs to perhaps cut back when it comes to strengthening a team in order to pay for a legit playmaker quarterback. Your Brock Purdy's and Jimmy G's will only take you so far

Ignorance? Brady won against Patrick in 18 AFC championship and SbLV. Brady had a great come back in 2017 against the Falcons. Brady held the record with 50 passing TDs in a season. Brady won a suoerbowl in the first year On a NEW team. Brady was picked low, people didn't believe in him, for most people that would hurt performance but Brady never let that stuff mess with his game. Brady won rings in part by taking team-friendly deals so the Patriots could put more talent on the roster. Mahomes cap hit among QBs was 2nd highest last year and they won a SB. His cap hit this year was the highest among QBs and they won again. If he had given the Chiefs a team-friendly deal like Brady so his cap hit was around 1oth highest, the Chiefs would have had $18 million to resign Juju and go after Deandre Hopkins.
