Patrick Mahomes refused to let the Kansas City Chiefs lose to the Las Vegas Raiders twice in 1 season. Down 31-to-28 with 1:43 remaining, Mahomes surgically moved the ball down the field for the go-ahead touchdown leaving Vegas with only 28 seconds left. Multiple chances with Kelce, Hill and Hardman. Then including Chiefs drafting Mahomes 10th pick, 9 teams passed on Mahomes. Even a QB was taken b4 Mahomes in 2017 draft. So ANY team could've had all these weapons and 9 teams could've had Mahomes. Chiefs drafted this offense fair and square Skip. It's not like Chiefs did what NBA teams been doing past 15 years and aquire players already knowing thier good and make Super teams to make nba finals.... Chiefs scouted these guys out college and we built this team right way. Through the draft. So, stop bitching bout our weapons. Or Chiefs having best QB/TE/WR trio in country. Other teams can do it too. Just scout players better in draft.

Russ has been inconsistent the past month, Kyler Murray and Aaron Rodgers both lost crucial games this week. So yes, FOR NOW, Mahomes is the front runner but not by much. Had Green Bay won yesterday, Rodgers would be the front runner. Same for the Cardinals and Murray. Wilson, Murray, and Rodgers are all carrying their teams with no defensive help, which is why unless the Chiefs go 15-1, I don't see Mahomes winning the award. And with that weak schedule and dominant defense, I don't think Big Ben can win it unless the Steelers go 16-0. My top 5 MVP candidates as of right now 1. Mahomes 2. Rodgers 3. Murray 4. Wilson 5. Big Ben

My only problem about calling Mahomes the MVP is that he’s not doing that much better than Rodgers but has the best receivers and a top 5 defence. So in terms of value I think Rodgers is the MVP.
