It looks really good! At 12 hours you could still see your blush and a lot of times the blush will disappear into the foundation.

I've seen quite a few reviews on this foundation in the last few days, & you're one of the very few that has liked it. Everyone else especially with dry, acne, textured skin has not liked it & was really, really ready to take it off after just a few hours. So, I say to anybody that's thinking about buying this foundation, please see a few reviews before you decide to buy or not to buy this foundation duo. Here's a couple good ones I've seen: Emily's Makeup Bag Babs Beauty Morgan Turner Mitsuko Blaise Patty Alonso Just to name a few. Hope this helps Because I love Patrick Ta products so much, I was really hoping this would be another home run, but so far, it's not looking good. I have dry, textured, mature skin & sadly, I think I'm going to have to pass on this one. Edit: If you have acne please check out ""Emily's Makeup Bag"" video.

I wonder if the climate matters a lot on this foundation. I’d think a drier climate would work better on a balm, rather than super humid. Exciting find maybe :D

I'm one of the people the Patrick Ta foundation doesn't seem to work for - super oily, acne-prone skin in a humid AF climate. Going to keep playing with it and combining with other products to see if I can make it happen, but if you have flaky skin or random dry patches this product does emphasize those issues A LOT. I do really like the powder because it does have blurring power..

I bought this instantly because of the shades. I’m cool /pink toned and most foundations in that tone are straight orange. This foundation had my perfect shade but the foundation didn’t work for me at all. It was just a cakey mask on me. Didn’t settle into my skin at all. I would definitely recommend bugging it in very well with a brush and don’t use too much. It gets caky very very quickly. It emphasized my pores and the powder didn’t do much for me either. I would recommend the new Haus Labs foundation over this one but if you can make it work, the shades are awesome, for me at least.

Applying a small amount, using a brush is the best way to work with this one😁 I'm testing the new Haus Labs and struggling with the shades lol. In the Medium category, the warm tone is a Rosy Undertone and the cool tone is a warm olive. Haha. I am trying to find the right shade 😆 But, so far, the foundation is beautiful and very natural❤️❤️❤️

I have some Korean foundations that are cream and in a compact like this. Estee Lauder did a cream compact foundation... 20 years ago! LOL It was my favorite foundation and was so sad when they discontinued it. Clearly... I'm a fan of this type of foundation and am exited to try Mr. Ta's version. LOL Thanks for a great review.

First you are so beautiful! The foundation looks so beautiful on you, I bought this yesterday and I love it as well. I have super dry skin, like very dry and it looks so pretty on. Also I love the powder, and I usually HATE powder like I’ve tried them all and none of them work for me, BUT this powder is stunning! 10/10 for me! I love it 🥰

Great review. I purchased the medium 1 and it’s an EXACT match to my complexion. So exact it hard to see when applying. The only thing I noticed is that for my skin it’s hard to apply without a primer with some slip. I think my face may be dry and I need to be very moisturized before applying.

I have skin just like yours and was afraid to order this because I heard maybe it's not for dry/slightly textured skin but I have exactly what u have..a bit of texture on 1 side of my chin, and looked it great on you!!!! From all the reviews I've seen, it has not performed good on dry skin. Tara has beautiful skin, that's why it looks so good on her. That's why it's always good to watch more than one review, because everyone has different skin types.

It's always good to watch many reviews😁 I heard that Mrs Melissa M has dry skin, over 50 and this is one of her top fav Foundations. Hi Tara, do you think you can use the powder for setting your undereye concealer? I am interested in this duo for travel and if I can do without a separate powder compact that would be helpful. Also, FYI, Mrs Melissa M. Recently ranked this one of her favorite foundations and she is over 50 with dry skin.

I’m really surprised it wore that nicely, 12 hours later. I figured with the car check in, being all hot and sweaty, that it would go to shit. But , it didn’t. I’m intrigued 🤔🤔. Seems like maybe it runs a little dark on shades I feel - so maybe need to order it a shade lighter than you would expect. Not sure about that yet.

Normally for foundation reviews I watch Tara first, and then go onto the other beauty reviewers & see what they think based on their skin type So I’m going to a have to see reviews on the other ladies as well to make my decision but if Tara likes it I normally will do far she hasn’t stirred me wrong . Picked this up last week, and so far I haven't been able to get it to work for me... Skin type: Korean 40+ oily, acne-prone + sensitive (many skincare and beauty products cause breakouts) I'm going to try and use some other products in conjunction to see if I can find the right combination. To be fair, most foundations end up being fails, so this is nothing new for me.

I heard others saying this one feels heavy; so I think I’ll skip on this one just in case as I can’t stand heavy foundation feeling, just like heavy rich skincare that feels like my skin is suffocating

Looks like you got a lighter shade in the CT concealer. Are you liking it better than the 7.5? I bought the 7.5 but its about the same color as my face so not much brightness there.

I am still wearing the shade 7.5 and 8 😁 If i bought a new shade, it would be a little darker. These are almost too light, but they will work great😁❤️

They are different in a few ways. I would say the Patrick Ta is more of a natural finish, whereas the Tom Ford is more hydrating. So, depending on your skin type, if you're more dry, I would recommend the TF, but if you want something a little more natural, I would go with the PT. But, the trick with the Patrick Ta is not using very much. If you get heavy-handed with it, it will look cakey on the skin. 😁❤️ Hope that is helpful🩷

From what I’ve read, you can’t return a product that has been used. That’s disappointing. I am using it right now. I’m still not sure whether it’s a ten or not. I’m 73 and have a lot of fine lines. Loved the review!

This was maybe the worst foundation I've ever tried. It emphasized any imperfection, sunk into pores, and broke up badly around my nose in a few hours. I'm starting to be convinced it only works on influencers who want to stay on Patrick's PR list.

It's definitely a tricky foundation. For me, I can only apply the smallest amount. If I get heavy-handed with it, it will be a cakey mess😩 Sorry it didn't work out for you... Regarding the PR.. I've never been on Patrick Ta's PR list, and from what I hear, I don't want to be.. Apparently, they only send out PR for people to post. If you don't post, you get taken off. 🤷‍♀️ It's definitely not really a PR list I want to be on😩

Something much lighter would look so flattering on you hands down. But I am no expert, so what do I know? 😂

@@TaraLynnbeauty Tara, I wasn’t sure if you was going to see this.. I think you have a gorgeous face and you are a beautiful woman. And, of course, it’s just make up, we wash it off at night. I just really thought the #2 color would look phenomenal on you. The interesting part about this particular product is that it’s for oily skin but I have dry skin and it works wonders for me. Even the powder isn’t a typical disaster I normally experience. I love it so much. I moisturize very well prior to putting it on - I use Bobby Brown Vitamim cream and a serum from First aid. It sucks that many ladies will pass on this product in fear of being all flaky and dry.

I’m waiting for mine in the mail from Sephora. I’m 44 with hyperpigmentation and adult acne prone. I know this is very silicone, so I’m a little worried about that. Seems as though this has been a 👍🏼 from people with all skin types. I’m excited to try it! Thanks for the tutorial and thoughts! New subscriber ❤️

Yes, Julia, that's definitely something to watch out for. I have adult acne prone skin, and it hasn't done that to me. However, I've had a few comments from people saying they loved it, but it broke them out🥺 I'm hoping it doesn't do that to you🙏 Thank you so much for watching and subscribing.
