Arrived yesterday. Visited Casa Vicens this afternoon on your recommendation. We booked the tour which was definitely worth it in my opinion. Normally my husband would have whizzed round the building but he thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

@@PatrickGuideBarcelona We were lucky enough to be in Barcelona before Christmas so enjoyed seeing all the families waiting for the lights to be switched on there as our hotel on was GranVia. This time we’re in an apart hotel near Sagrada Familia. Hope to see some of the La Merce celebrations over the weekend. Thanks again for all the fantastic information you pass on to us.

I really enjoy your presentation its easy to watch and informative. My daughter and will be in Barcelona next week this is helping give me an inner confidence to prepare not having been abroad for years previously not done city breaks. I was wondering if the book fair would take place again in September this year. Also, do you have recommendations for restaurants on or near the Passeig de Gracia? Thanks for the walking tour. What’s your recommendation between Casa La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Which one worth the visit the most ? Appreciate your opinion.

You’re very welcome. That’s a great question and something I’ve been meaning to make a video about. The more popular is Casa Batlló but it’s also more expensive. Casa Milà has a better roof and views. Casa Batlló is more colorful while the interior design in the Milà is a bit more complex. Remember, You’ve got links below for tickets!

Hey Patrick thanks for the great content, just want to know is cheaper to book a tour to Monserrat or to go by yourself? And if I had a choice of day tour Gerona or Monserrat?

It’s definitely cheaper to go by yourself, but you could always join a group. A choice of Girona or Montserrat is up to you, very different trips. I have have videos on both for you to check out and help you decide!

Each time I go to Barcelona I am told not to go to La rambla because of pick pockets ,I encountered one in the metro who kept looking but I was so firm he didn’t really do anything , again will be going in a couple of months .. any advise to be careful of the theirs there who keep on adding up ….
