Needed to review this real quick for physics. When you can watch something in x2 speed and still comprehend everything, that's when u know a video's clarity is top notch.

my advice would be the same pipe dream most of us get: do what you love. that is where you will do your best work and be the most happy. it is hard for most people to be honest with themselves, myself included. i feel like i got lucky cause the videos caught on. then again, i only did this cause i love teaching. so maybe it worked out just like it should.

Everyone's like "Dang, every time Patrick checks his numbers at the end of the video, they end up perfect". But what we don't see is all the times he made a small mistake, which snowballed into a catastrophe that results in a deleted video and a dark night of deep reflection. hahaha

Hey Patrick, Huge fan here. My school has seriously implemented your teachings in our Lecture Notes for my online classes here at Rasmussen College. Currently attending a dual bachelor for Gam & Sim/Develpoment Programming. I simply wanted to say that you seriously make it easy for myself to comprehend Calculus and Advanced Calculus. Keep up the good work!! If you were near me in Orlando, Fl., I'd by your ass a drink!!!

i got into grad school by busting my butt and working hard as an undergrad. this was hard since i worked a job in a restaurant anywhere between 30-40 hours a week while taking anywhere between 15-18 credit hours of classes. i studied ' not that much ' for my first two years, but once i got into the upper division classes i would say i was studying at least 20 hours per week in addition to my class time.

now that we are like brother and sister: my major was math, MA in math as well. did a year of phd work in math before i decided it was not for me (long story). no work in economics although i did do quite a bit or probability theory since my school had an actuarial program so they offered lots of probability classes. plus i liked it. my friend is an actuary (one of the smartest guys i know) and he hates it for the most part.
