They did put all the blame on Brady for losing the Rams game and never mentioned that Antoine Smith fumbled on the 1 yard line.

Amen. People are cheap shoting Bill Belichick, a head coach who has gone to 9 SBs, 2 as a DC and 1 as an assistant head coach. That's 12 all together.

He's a cheater, deal with it. That's why he doesn't say anything about anything, even about Hernandez. He let hernandez act a way he wouldn't allow from anybody, weak

In another interview BB mentioned Brady was splitting reps during practice before the first Rams game, and he felt that contributed to losing the game, after that there was no decision to be made…..

Loved Drew, but he began to see shadows. Too many sacks, couldn't get rid of the ball.

But it really wasn't Bledsoe, wasn't very good the media in Boston love Bledsoe

it really wasn't. I'm a die hard fan lived in the area, and bledsoe was getting heat all off season long. we were pretty much getting tired of him. we were not married to him for sure. media was on him. fans were 50/50. sentiment was that how's that the most expensive QB plays like the most average? there's no emotional connection because he just wasn't the same guy on the field. in a way, he had it coming. i think they really blew this out of proportion. brady was a breath of fresh air. fans love the back up when the starter isn't performing well.

If that was the case, how come the team extended him for 100 mil?

The Dynasty is a Belichick Hit Piece, Kraft Productions was involved.

Having heard and seen things like this explains partially some things on the fall out between Kraft-Belichick-Brady. Bill made a statement about the "mental toughness" of the team and Tom had echoed that same thing in a interview. We were able to see the change from being a fun winning ball club to a power obsessive no tolerance empire (two separate dynasties separated by a decade). I have no doubt there is more that can, could, and should be told on Belichicks part - but it is also very clear - that while others aside from Bill have many things to say ~ Bill has been tight lipped. If the docuseries is incorrect on how Bill is portrayed then others should put official statements or videos out there to the contrary. Whether Bill wants to or not his silence speaks volumes ~ right, wrong, or indifferent.

Tom Curran still insists that Michael Bishop was a wasted talent. This after failing in the NFL, CFL, and even the Arena Football League. The fool got into a Twitter debate with Zolak about it.

Great coaches always need a QB. Reid “couldn’t win the big one” until Mahomes. And BB had a 20 yr run, but people cherry pick a couple years before and after.

Joe Gibbs won 3 SB’s with Thiesman, Williams and Rypien so not every great coach needed elite QB’s. Parcells won 2 SB’s with Simms and Hostetler. Andy Reid succeeded in Philly before he went to KC and drafted Mahomes. Belichick has never won without Brady as he didn’t win Cleveland in the 90’s or the last 4 years in New England.
@tomtalley2192

Was a different era. You could win with a great defense, and running game. Quarterback was a game manager. Shula won a Super Bowl throwing 14 times. Mahomes does that in a quarter.
@chrisolivo6591
@chrisolivo6591 3 ай бұрын
@@tomtalley2192The first 10-12 years of Belichick/Brady era, you could still win running the ball/good Defense. They didn’t change the rules til around 2012 when the concussion stuff hit the league. The Ravens won the SuperBowl in 2001 with Trent Dilfer, the Bucs won in 2003 with Brad Johnson, as that was right during the first 3 Brady/Belichick SB’s.

Tom is 100% right. If Belichick had gone with Bledsoe in the SB and lost, many fans would be calling for Bill’s head. The AFC CG was wondering by Troy Brown and Dynasty never focused on Brown. Why? Watching this series, if possible, Brady was actually underrated.

I'm late to this party but IMO, Belichick should never again be trusted with a HC position. He's borderline megalomaniacal, and a cancer in any position of authority. I would hire him as a DC with very minimal authority only. He's also a HUGE hypocrite. He expects EVERYONE ELSE to be accountable and team driven so, WHY ISN'T HE??!! It's abundantly clear that Belichick is a brilliant Narcissist. He's the best defensive and tactical mind the game has ever seen, but he has NO respect for offense and offensive players, and NO respect for the Owner that employs him. He has repeatedly undermined what was best for the team while claiming otherwise. Sitting Malcolm Butler in SB 52 threw ALL Players under the Bus! How was that best for the TEAM?! Players are human and all different. It's a HC duty to manage personalities and CREATE an atmosphere of SUCCESS for overall TEAM benefit! Ruining the starting QB consciously or unconsciously because he isn't "your guy" is Textbook NARCISSISM and absolutely NOT what is “BEST” for the TEAM! Belichick does what is best for his EGO! He may have cut his football teeth under Navy Athletics, and he may THINK he runs a team modeled on the military, but he does NOT! He FORGOT that EVERY serviceman swears an oath and is accountable to a higher authority! The Admiral or General, may not agree with or even respect The President, but it's their duty to their country to follow orders and to NEVER undermine or subvert “The Boss” or the MEN under their command. IMO, players were willing to endure the "Belichick Way" because they believed TB12 ensured a legitimate SB shot year after year. Yes, the defenses were equally important to the repeated success, but The GOAT was the GLUE that held it all together. When the glue dissolved, it unsurprisingly fell apart.
