The bar thing on the entrance of the first outpost you entered is to keep the cattle in because there is usually a 1-2 foot drop underneath it and they get scared and won’t walk over it

Also the cattle grid, the bars are further apart. There a lot better than opening doses of gates

They really hit it out of the ballpark with this map from the looks of it. I can’t say it for sure until I get my hands on it, but I have no doubt EC was in the works since before NEM came out. It makes complete sense that they’d put most of their energies into this map and all the much needed reworks. The update as a whole is looking amazing. Great work!

Man I wish that I could play this game right now. I haven't been able to play since August because my PlayStation broke. I actually happened to be playing this very map, chasing a level 5 banteng when the PlayStation spontaneously shut off. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Yea they seem to be very similar to mountain lions. Lots of 8s & 9s but the troll a decent bit

At 2:17 that is a Texas gate, he gave the correct definition it is used so you don’t need to close a gate at all times, it’s also used as a second piece of potential safety for the animals

The Cattleguards by people's gate rarely break the legs, they usually drop down and cant get out.

I learned this in my large animal class the grate by the outpost keeps cattle from walking over it because of the change in the landscape. They won't get hurt if they walk over it and there isn't any drop

All of them I’ve seen in person have a 6inch-1ft drop at least under the steal. Where do you have them without because that wouldn’t even be effective

Sambar are probably going to be like one of those species were they level 5s spawn frequently but don't make diamond frequently. Like feral goat and reindeer.

Crow this preview of this map is getting me hyped for it to release on the 20th . This will probably be my fav map due to kangaroo and the new rework with red deer and fallow is super exciting . Also the all of new species will be an amazing map:)

The cattle gate is called a cattle guard and cows don’t break their legs but they do not know how to cross and will get stuck if they do

I think I preferred the Red deer's chest fluff tbh. Also I'm highly disappointed the kangaroos don't kick you. Edit: Nvm, got further in the video and they do kick you. I would have been like "that's a cardinal sin that the KANGAROOS don't kick you". My bad.

Cattle grids do not brake there legs there is a space underneath and the cows see that as a drop and are scared, also they would get stuck but they are NOT made to brake there legs wtf
