That's when you know it's a good song that's got you in your feelings and is a song by an amazingly talented singer!! You get goose pimples everywhere and feel the electricity and static in the air, the hair on your head - no matter how long, feels like it's being magically lifted by the roots!! 🙊🙆🏼 The medical term for Goose pimples is "erector pili" which is actually the name of the muscle that controls and causes goose pimples. Fun fact..........did you know that goose pimples / goosebumps are actually NOT your skin/hair raising UP on your arms/all over your body in a response to stimuli and causes the bumpy or pimple like appearance and feel?!??????? BUT instead is actually the muscles underneath the skin *PULLING THE SKIN WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE MUSCLE DOWN, CAUSING THE PIMPLE OR BUMP LIKE APPEARANCE AND FEEL?!???* Everyone thinks it's your skin *RAISING UP* in response to the stimuli, when it's really *the skin being PULLED DOWN where the muscles are attached, and the sections of skin that don't have the erector pili attached to it (the parts of skin IN BETWEEN THE HAIR FOLLICLES!!!) have NOT MOVED AT ALL & are just in a RESTING POSITION AT THEIR NORMAL POSITION AND HEIGHT.....YET THOSE SECTIONS ARE THE ACTUAL BUMPS/PIMPLES/SKIN YOU FEEL "RAISING"?!?????? Isn't that amazing and super weird?!?? The name doesn't even match what your body is doing in response to the stimuli!!!!! It's like you need to question EVERYTHING you've ever know now, isn't it?!?? Lmao!!!* 🙊🙆🏼🤷🏼♀️

@twinkletoes62905 жыл бұрын
Take me with you!!!! Although, I would like to go to a couple different time periods/eras and even locations, not just in America!! I hope you'll still let me come with you!! Lmao. I do sincerely hope they can actually make some time travel actually happen, it would definitely need to be heavily regulated, because just like the one person commented "don't eff up your ancestors", you would certainly not want to mess anything up with your ancestors, lineage, personal history or even history as a whole. Even if we think changing something historically would be for the better of all & the right decision to do, we don't actually know what the outcome would be if we went back and changed history or large historical events. You know, the whole "Butterfly Effect". We could change something that would remove a negative aspect, person or historical event from the history books or ever even happening, but we don't know for sure how that would impact or affect other things, how it would impact or affect history as a larger whole!! If it would actually make things better or improve, or if it would make things worse. Worse yet, what if by erasing that person, aspect of event left a gap to be filled and something or someone worse came in to take its place and had an even more devastating and larger impact on history & events?!??? That would be awful and basically supplementing one evil shitty thing for something else equally or *MORE EVIL & AWFUL!!* I know that I would not want to be the one responsible for doing that and possibly causing history or an historical event to be even worse or causing something devastating to occur as a result of me playing God and messing with things, thinking I could fix it all. This kind of scenario or thought process, the "Butterfly Effect" light version, if you will, was played out in a show on NBC called "Timeless"!! The show was very enjoyable and done well, the actors all did an amazing job, the research and history departments gallantly handled their tasks and the costume department really went all out and did a smashingly feat with amazing results!! It had a very loyal following with great reviews from both the audience and the viewers. It went up for cancellation after its 1st season for some crackpot reasoning and boy did the fans have a conniption fit!!!! 🙊 They went apeshit crazy on twitter, other social medias, contacting the studios and networks, begging, pleading, screaming, cursing and getting a hashtag to trend worldwide (I think something along the lines on "SaveTimeless" or something like that)!! They were NOT going to take "no" for an answer, not at all!! They managed to be heard and understood, loud and clear, they show was not cancelled and renewed for a 2nd season. However, unfortunately, NBC still did not order an entire season (their 1st season was only a half of what a regular season would be at 16-ish episodes), they actually ordered an *even smaller count of episodes for the season, at only 10 I think?!??* Plus, they had them at a weird day & time, just like the 1st season, but for the 2nd season they basically gave it a death sentence by not only giving it a shorter run with 10 episodes, having it on a weird day & time, running up against other established and successful shows on other networks (which they also did the 1st season, basically guaranteeing that it won't be a successful hit and able to compete & bring the audiences), BUT they also had the shorter season as a "filler show" and a "filler season". This basically meant that when one of their regular shows had ended at the end of the regular Cable TV season, they put this show on with its measly 10 episodes tacked on to the end of the Cable TV season to try to grab viewers on their network. They expected the viewers to watch because they would be desperate with the regular cable TV shows on that network ending and possibly even competitor cable networks (ABC - CBS - CW, or whatever it's called now, etc) and that they would gladly watch just about anything in order to have something to work. Unfortunately, I don't think the other competitor networks and very popular shows that were on at their time & day that they were competing with for viewership were actually over. It seems as though NBC didn't do proper research to find out just when end dates were for the competing networks and shows were and to make sure that the competitor networks also didn't have any new shows airing that same date and time, or also have "filler shows" or "filler seasons" that were just as popular, or more popular, airing during those days & times!! So, the second season struggled even more than the first and was less successful as the first. As a result, it got scrapped all together!! However, due to the loyalty of the fans and the popularity of the show, the network DID order 2 episodes, 1 hr each - so basically a TV movie length, ending to the show which tied everything and all the storylines up so it felt like a completed and full arch story. That made the fans happy. Sadly, I don't think NBC even gave that show a fighting chance to be successful, a hit and long lasting. It's almost as if they didn't give a shit at all whether it succeeded or failed, they just needed something in that time and day slot in order to draw some viewership to try to remain competitive with the other cable TV channels, or to even steal viewership from the competitors successful shows it was up against!!!! Hell, sometimes it even feels like they wanted it to fail and didn't count on it being a good show, with good ratings from critics and viewers and have a loyal viewer base!! 🤦🏼♀️ Anyways, I got super off topic, but that was a show that broached this whole idea and was very well done. I just wish they would have actually given the show a chance, the effort, hard work, dedication, time, investment to prove just how good of a show it was and how successful it was and how long lasting it could have been. It was such an interesting topic, you got to travel through time while still in your living room!! And again, the actors, history & research department, set designers, storyline writers & costume departments did a smashingly amazing job!!
@twinkletoes62905 жыл бұрын
#2 This kid of thought process is also like the question ; "Would you kill Baby Hitler?!???" That question is often asked in history classes and you can even find it being discussed in politics classes, theology classes, etc etc. You can find many people asking this question amongst friends at a dinner party or when you're all just sitting around and talking, talking about history or even talking about current events!! It's a good question that really gets you to think things through, wonder what life would have been like if Hitler was never Alice, or never allowed to grow up and get into the position of power he was, WW II had never happened- or at least it didn't happen when it happened, for the reasons it happened, with the key players that were an influential or key aspect of it, which Hitler most certainly was!! It also gets you questioning your morals and ethics, and the compass that drives them - just what are you willing to do, what are you willing to sacrifice or what morals and ethics are you willing to discard in order to achieve something, if you think that something will actually have a positive impact on humankind or a mass amount t of humans!!!! It gets you starting to think about the "Butterfly Effect" and how would killing Baby Hitler affect other things!! You have to think of what other evil people and/or forces were there and a part of history, or WW II, even if they were relatively small ppl/forces/events/aspects/etc of what we currently know in history as WW II, Hitler, Nazis, the Jewish people in Europe, Japan, etc etc etc etc. What would have happened to those people if Hitler had never been there? Do they all just fade away and live happy, normal lives?!??? Or do they become more Influential, evil & powerful and become a key, major player - basically taking Hitler's place, and WW II still happens, just over different things, or maybe the same things, but different things happen at different times and maybe outcomes are different?!??? Would it result in something even more atrocious happening as a result?!???? Hard to believe something could be more atrocious, but it's actually entire feasible and possible, and more atrocious things actually exist, believe it or not!! And so on - and so forth with the questioning, thinking how it would affect things - thinking what the outcomes would be - thinking what would change or be the same......or worse yet, worse!!!?!??? You can do the same type of thing with "What if the Nazis won? What would the world look like and be like, if the Nazis won?!!!??" "What if America was never colonized?!??? What would the world look like?!?? What would America, or what's presently known as America, look like or be like?!??? How would that have impacted the world in general,!??? How would that have impacted various moments in history?!??? - how would it have impacted the WWs?!?? The fight against the Nazis, Hitler and the Third Reich?!???" Etc etc etc etc. There's so many various options for you to begin posing questions that start getting you to think about what things would be like if this person, historical event or aspect never happened, had a different outcome, key people were changed and exchanged, etc etc etc etc!!!!! It really gets you to start to think about the "Butterfly Effect" and how just changing something minute could have such a drastic or even devastating impact on history or the way things ended or turned out. Even if you think the minute thing you changed was a positive change, you never fully know how that could result. Let alone if it was NOT a minute change, but a rather large or drastic and impactful change.......just what would that do, what or whom would that affect, what would that result in, how would that change history and how things currently are, would it be for the better - or the worse or mankind, the planet earth and history as a whole?!??????? The show "11.23.63" that was based on a Steven King novel and was shown on the streaming service Hulu also kind of broached this subject a bit!!! This show was about time travelers being able to go back through time with the goal of trying to change historical events so the outcome was better. The goal of the individuals, in this scenario, were to stop JFK from being assassinated and that America and the whole world would be much better off, in present day, if that awful even would have never taken place!! In case anyone reading this has NOT seen the show, in not going to go into any specifics, give anything away, let you know if he was successful in his assignment or not and what the outcomes were for!!! All I will say is, it's definitely a really cool show with a great cast, amazing storyline, wonderful costumer department, just amazing all around. It will definitely have you completely wrapped up in the show trying to know how everything will pan out and what will be the end result. You're on the edge of your seat the entire time and it's very entertaining. I'm saving all of that so hopefully you *DO WATCH IT & GIVE IT YOUR ATTENTION AND A CHANCE!!!!* That show definitely has you thinking of the "Butterfly Effect" throughout the entire thing and even when it ends, it's provocative in nature in that way and is a great show to watch with your family and/or friends and then discuss after each episode and the end!!! Ok, so I babbled on way too much! Oops. 🤦🏼♀️ I'm going to shut the hell up now!! Thanks to anyone who reads this babbling mess of a post!! I hope everyone has an amazing day or evening, depending on where you are in the world!! ❤️🍀🎋🌹🎍❤️
