Күн бұрынPattaya Thailand Yamaha Motorbike, Buying a motorbike is easy in Thailand. There's every available brand you can think of. Today, I'm having new brakes installed at Pattaya's only Yamaha Service Center. All together, it took only 15 minutes and cost just $10. In the mean time, I toured the showroom giving all the 2024 Yamaha prices. Additionally, If you consider getting a motorbike, you'll need your passport, residence certificate, and cash. Most service Centers take care of the registrations and insurance.

I have been super happy with my Honda PCX 150 (it`s very similar to Yamaha Nmax), more than enough power for me. It`s really comfortable to drive, leaning a little backwards, so you don`t feel you sit on top of the front wheel. I have used Mityon in Pattaya (across Tony`s gym) for more than 15 years. Love the freedom feeling I get driving a motorbike in Thailand, with the cool breeze in my face. I have always chosen Hondas, but Yamaha has very similar bikes too. Thanks, Tom 😊😊

Yes they are! It's amazing that other countries are so far behind on things like this. In the USA, I tried to find a comparable motorbike over 10 yeras ago. The price difference was 500% more in the USA. Crazy

Just make sure to check your travel insurance. Some companies only insure up to 125cc Thanks for the video

I always thought I would like the bigger bike but as it turns out the smaller bikes a easier to maneuver and of course lighter while loading in a pickup truck.😂

Wow! $10.00 for rear brakes... The price of new bikes are cheap too! It's amazing what things cost there... So much cheaper!

Xmas is around 15% cheaper in Thailand than here in New Zealand, we have sales tax of 15%, just wondering if Thailand has a sales tax? Very sharp prices there for sure.

Thailand does have a VAT of 7% though many times it's automatically incorporated in the price. I verified this in the video as well but other shops may differ.

I think sometimes you have to live life. There's probably 1000's of motorcycles riders in Pattaya daily yet I very seldom see a motorbike accident though they do happen. On the other hand, I see auto accidents on a regular basis.

I'm a big guy and used to liter bikes. Question, do they sell the TMaxx Maxi scooter in Thailand? 560cc or thereabouts? Not sold in the US.

Yes, I have seen the Tmax around town, but didn’t see any on the showroom floor of Yamaha.

I have to assume you bought the bike from a private individual? As most dealers will handle the registration for you. The license bureau is on Hwy 36 behind a large 7-11 store. maps.app.goo.gl/wsYXRCLqam2rVFzZ9 I can't read Thai but this is the general location. Once you see the 7-11 store there's a road on the right side that will take you to many gov't building behind. I hope this makes sense. It seems to me that you will need a certificate of residence from both the buyer and the seller but definitely check on that. I hope this helps.
